If so, what do you do to make it go away?

As a matter of fact, I have been feeling that way a lot lately, especially when I am alone. I find that the busier I keep myself, the better I feel. Try to busy yourself with friends and activities that you enjoy and hopefully, you will get yourself out of that. However, I think it's natural to feel sad every now and then for no reason. I think it's even more common for females, since we have so many hormone issues.

I hope you have a good rest of the day! I care because I know that it's not much fun feeling that way from time to time.

A funk, depression, sad..whatever you call it, yeah, I get that sometimes.

I think to face it...even if you dont know where its from, just face it and cry your eyes out. Sometimes you just need to emotionally clense....you brain may be clogged with some negative energy or maybe something you havn't dealt with is in the back of your brain, brewing...now its boiling over and you need to let it go, take a deep breath and go for a walk or something.

Hope you are feeling ok - life's confusing and frustrating sometimes, but if you have good friends and a loving family, you can make it thru anything as long as you keep them in the loop, tell them what's going on and ask for help. So often ppl get even sadder because they may think no one cares, but no one is a mind reader, talk to people about your problem, if you can pin point it.

Yes, that happens sometimes, especially when you're lonely, nostalgic or feeling bored. The trick to resolving such feelings, is to tell yourself that sadness is a part of life. And start doing something you really enjoy. Calling (talking to), or hanging out with good friends usually help.

I think it's common for everyone to get that once in a while if they have stress upon them, or some underlying emotions.

For myself, the best way to get rid of it is to just get my mind off things by playing video games or doing something else I enjoy so I won't think about it.

Of lately, yes because of my dad's passing away. When I feel this extreme sadness, I cry my heart out. Somehow, it relieves the pain and sadness.
