Even if you know that you have no real reason to be intimidated, like if the person is very kind and gentle, but you cant' help but feel self concious. It seems like the person is looking right through you, down to your bare bones. Eventually, it gets easier to be normal.

Any one else know what I'm talking about?

I'm 28 and just discovered what tonsil stones are. I have delt with the all my life, although they have never been a problem, just gross. Since the other day when I found out where they live. I can't stop thinking about them and I have picked at my tonsils until they are raw. I know that if I don't leave them alone, I can get them infected. My question is, does anyone else feel completely grossed out about them and wished you never found out what they were?

"I'm here in this moment right now" Its like the opposite of deja vu and sort of like I'm oddly aware of my surroundings. Sometimes in my car or at school I get this feeling and just want to go home. It only lasts a second and I have always wondered since I was a child what it was. Sorry~ its so diifcult to express unless you've felt it. Hopefully someone else has experienced this too and knows how to better describe it or what it is. Its really annoying.

Love pasta but I'm bored with the usual spaghetti they sell at fastfoods...I want to make my own great pasta (red or with a pesto sauce are my favorites but if your recipe is not, thats fine too!). Can you give me the recipe? I'd prefer something that you already made instead of recipes from the internet. Thanks!

I have a lot of body hair, am loosing scalp hair, have dark undereye circles due to genetics, have developed a fat face etc... and am getting cosmetic procedures or plan to get them in the future to help me combat these problems. I do not need advice about accepting oneself etc...because I have tried and not succeeded.

I would be interested in hearing from people with these kinds of problems (especially those who had hair transplants) or even with other problems that required cosmetic surgery (e.g., Botox, liposuction and so on). Is cosmetic surgery addictive? Were you happy with your results? Or did you find a way to accept yourself and not mind looking bad in pictures? If you accepted yourself instead of developing BDD (like I seem to be), did it take a long time to get confident with your appearance? Did you find a girlfriend (or boyfriend) once you finally became confident with your appearance? Or did you develop confidence as a result of successful cosmetic surgery?

U would laugh 2 hear about it. 1 THING IS THE "FEAR 2 LEARN" accompanied by "FEAR OF EMBARRASMENT". Like , when i was a kid, i got a small , new atlas cycle but found it difficult 2 learn to ride it. i had the fear that i might fall down. I couldn't learn 2 ride it while the other girlsof my colony learnt it fast. My family members( i.e my uncles & aunts ) tried 2 teach me a lot but i couldn't learn. Finally, THEY said i can never learn & they left trying with me. But i had decided i will learn & i took out the bigger cycle ( my aunts cycle ) & tried 2 half-peddle & slowly within days i learnt half-peddling, then full-peddling, then 1 day i rode my atlas cycle. When i grew up a biggr cycle was bought for me, but i occasionally rode it. i feared the crowd on roads, i feared that i might fall down & hurt myself, i feared of embarrasment so i stopped riding it. Then it was sold & a new cycle was got 4 me BUT it too is rotting as now i am going 2 collegewith my frnd in her scooty.HELP ME!

I find some of our family members more or less arogant. There's a constant put down of other people who "have no brains", dumb blondes, etc (I am naturally blonde by the way, gulp!). Most of them are quite high achievers. I have achieved too, but wouldnt make a fuss about it. Sometimes, I'm getting very tired of their behaviour, and does anyone have some advice how to best cope with them (eg xmas party) and also to understand why they are so loud about their greatness? Many thanks. Gini
