Perhaps not all, but you would want to know about prison time, debts and whether the one you love is otherwise involved. Some people let these little thing just " slip there mind ".

sounds like infatuation. when I found my wife I was Interested in her past but didnt need to know and still dont know everything. Its the present and future that matter most and her past good or bad wont change it. Take some time and enjoy your relationship. Good Luck and dont over analyze it.

i guess its that when you fall in love with that person, you want to own and possess that person. naturally, you will want to knw everything; his past and whether you are the one or not, his present.. but that kinda obsession isnt healthy, really. and it wont ususally last.

cuz then we dont want some1 else tellin us, which would hurt us and u wanna feel like you kno evrythin about the person.
