"I'm here in this moment right now" Its like the opposite of deja vu and sort of like I'm oddly aware of my surroundings. Sometimes in my car or at school I get this feeling and just want to go home. It only lasts a second and I have always wondered since I was a child what it was. Sorry~ its so diifcult to express unless you've felt it. Hopefully someone else has experienced this too and knows how to better describe it or what it is. Its really annoying.

Fiona- yeah I've had the feeling you are describing too, like you see things in a whole new light. This feeling that I'm describing is different. Its like it comes over me suddenly and I know when its about to happen, I can feel it coimng on. I don't know , its just a "here and now" sort of feeling that is obviously indescribable.
Thanks everyone for your input!!

I think I know what you mean, but add comments for others if I'm not on the right track. Sometimes it is like you are seeing something that you have seen many times your whole life like you are seeing it again for the first time, in a new light, with new eyes. It might feel weird at first, but I feel opposite, I really love when it happens because it gives me a glimpse of where I am as it might look from another perspective or from someone elses eyes. Next time you get the feeling, just try sitting in it for a second and taking it in. You might find it interesting and enjoyable.
I was looking through a photography magazine today and I came across a quote that you might like.
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new landscapes, but in having new eyes." by Marcel Proust
It's funny, but I often feel the "travel bug" like I am bored with where I am, but this idea is really interesting. (Travelling to new places is still good and enlightening) but you don't always have to travel to discover a new place.
Is this what you meant?

There is only here and Now. There is no time or space.
Have you ever heard of indigo children,( many are misdiagnosed as adhd because they are so gifted but society is unable/unwilling to understand them yet.Because society does not want to hear the truth they dope the kids up with ritlin (poor man's cocaine)) to shut them down/up . They, and I believe you are, Very attuned to The Truth and have incredible intuitions. have you seen the show "Heroes". Do you Know when some one is going to call, do you get certain feelings of things are about to happen, can you tell when some one is lying, etc.? You are tuning into the total awareness of the Universe, gettin' it on with God, listening to your intuition, following your heart. You are aware of the Truth. Again, there is no time or space all this is an illusion and you are seeing the world as it really is. Did you see matrix. That is the Hollywood version of what is happening. The concept is correct though. you did not even have to take any pill to see the truth you were born with that knowing.Heaven and hell are only states of being here on Earth that the church created to control the people through fear. You are stepping outside of time and space. Welcome to the real world. You create your reality here by your thoughts, words and actions. So be very aware of all that you do. Act with impeccable integrity and enjoy the ride you are the driver.
Shhh. don't tell to many people they will know we are here. Opps to late the whole world knows now. WAHOOOOOOO!!!!
We are who we have been praying for.

I'm not sure of what you are describing, but I had a sensation once that could be described as just the opposite of deja vu, someone referred to it as "jamais vous", "never seen before", in which perfectly familiar surroundings suddenly appeared totally unfamiliar. It was in a building where I had been many times before, and nothing had changed in the building, but once when I entered, a feeling suddenly came over me as if I had never seen the place before.

Yeah I have had something similar, but I always think did I dream this before and am relating to it as your mind perceives the dream state to be as real as reality, so in the muddle of your mind lies.......who knows.....it is an awkward feeling.

When things are brighter, louder and it's almost like all your senses are heightened? That's anxiety acting up. You're lucky it only happens for a second. I get like that and it can last for days! Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's hell. It's definitely anxiety though. It's part of your fight or flight response.

Your lost.
No thought.
You can here what's going on around you,but yet you have "no thought on the matter".
Thoughts are there, but you caint grab them, because they aint important..
They are important , but not worth speaking of at that moment.
