i'm learning to be a high school art teacher. i'm currently doing an observation of a classroom with a partner from my university program. the problem is my partner.

my partner is a major slacker. when he should be interacting with students or practicing teaching in front of the class, he hides in the back of the class and/or uses the time to do his homework. he dresses inappropriately, and just agrees with anything i want to do on projects where we are supposed to share responsibility.

i've talked to my advisor about it. but when my advisor comes to observe the class, he does all of the things he should have been doing all along, so noone else will notice that he's such a slacker.

how do you deal with someone like that, who's irritating you to death?

Ok so last year my friend angela read my diary, and admitted to it. then this year, i had a very private entry that she knew about. it was on a solitary piece of paper. she said she had to go to the bathroom, and something made me look beside me. the entry was gone! i knocked on the door and asked if she'd seen it but she didn't seem to hear me. when she came out she played innocent (maybe she is...?) and helped me look for it. i went into the bathroom to look, and she seemed kind of nervous. then she said she had to go to the bathroom again. she put the vent on, but i thought i heard paper rustling in there. and she never puts that vent on? coincidence?
then she went to get her book from downstairs, and i found the entry in the bathroom. how did it get there?
there was a wet mark on it.
i confronted her and before i even finished the question she denied it.
she said that he dog had probably carried it into the bathroom, hence the wet mark.
i was kind of doubtful, but let it go

Is there a researched psychological condition whereas the subject feels very confident in their own abilities, but has no confidence that others will see that in them? Like they know they are "good enough" but cannot fathom others seeing it in them? What would that be called?

Also, any good websites for psychological database sort of things...Kinda a run down of the major work in psych?

I know this may sound outspoken, but at what point are you striving too hard to "relive" your life as you imagined. How can you reverse that?

It is siad that in hypnosis, that you can get the person to do anything that you want them to do; but this does involve thier will to obey. It is siad that they can be told to feel hot and they will sweat and that if they are told to feel cold, that they will shiver.
This gets to the point that if they are told they are burnt, that they will develop blisters.

If I get someone to hypnotise me; could I make them give me an orgasm that lasts for the rest of my life?

My parents were fourcing me to marry this guy "Mike", who goes to my school. I didnt want to marry "Mike" even though I have a crush on him in real life.
In the dream I asked "Mike" along series of questions before the marriage. One of them was if he really loved me and "Mike" answered Yes. Than he ran away, saying he would see me "on the other side". I ran after him. My teacher appeared out of thin air and began chasing after me. The entire time he kept yelling to me "You have the highest grade in the entire class". When Mike heard this, he came back for me with his car and we drove away!!

Also: in real life "mike" might acutally like me. We sometimes hang out, slow dance at most dances and smile at each other in the halls. Anyways.....

I'm really really sad right now. I can't describe it any better than that. I feel utterly alone and hopeless, and exhausted from life. When I get like this I feel like I don't care, don't want to try, and frankly just want to go to sleep. I wish I could say more, but I don't even have the motivation to try and better articulate how I am feeling. When I get like this, I make very impulsive decisions to feel connected to another person, even if it's a negative connection. (write outrageous emails, or, write questions on here, make crazy phone calls, go out and get trashed and talk to strangers, call old boyfriends, etc...)

me and this guy has been on/off for going on almost 2 yrs. in the beginning i was a bit too controlling/distant and in turn he thought i was dramatic/uncaring. he also had tendencies to just be moody and talk about how hot other women were, just to "make me care" (he said).also many times our debates would lead to arguments bc he's very firm in his beliefs and so am i, but he tends to get defensive easily and lose his temper. so i would dump him and get back together bc he begged. we've been up/down to the point of our parents/friends disliking us dating, and even suggesting couple's counseling, which i would try (but he doesn't want to).we used to be serious after we somehow fixed our problems (around the 8th month) but then i took a 5month break with him bc i left school for awhile, and now we're on/off but this time he dumps me anytime i try to confront him at all.i love him and he says he loves me.
could we have emotional disorders?
