I only smoked for a semester years ago back in college, and I'll occasionally still dream about wanting one or needing one. It's a psychological stimulus that has been programed into a deep part of your sub-conscience. It will probably always be something that you'll occasionally think about. As you know cigs. have horribly addictive chemicals in them and the body and brain remember this forever. The important, and often hard part is to resist re-introducing those chemicals back into your body.

9 days is a GREAT start!!! keep up the good work! You should already be seeing some amazing changes in they way you taste things and smell them! Hopefully this has been somewhat helpful! Good luck

I quit over 9 years ago and I still dream that I was smoking. Assume it means nothing and do not give in to wanting to start again. You are stronger than that little white stick of death !!

I remember that, I did the same thing, woke up feeling guilty, freaked me out because I felt like I had really smoked a cigarette.

I too have these dreams occasionally, quit 2 years ago. In your dream..next time you notice it in your hand, put it out...Most people don't know they have the ability to control their own actions in their dream just like in reality...I'm a very lucid dreamer. It's amazing to go..Oh I'm dreaming...and take control of my subconscious mind.
