Hi. I was bullied at my last highschool, and now I have trouble remembering alot of things that were going on, because I kept blocking them out. I know their still in there somewhere, but thats not helping. Do you have any suggestions on how I can bring these memories back up, so I can work through these issues and resolve the past, without it bothering me anymore? Thanks.

And he turned out to be physically repulsive, very short, hairy, and, well, small.
But, more to the point, why would any sane man, send these photos out to a woman he hardly knows?

I feel quite sickened by this, though before I received the photo, I thought that he seemed fairly intelligent.

Should I break off all contact with him?

-An absolute inabilty to perform a task or action due to a mental block or preventive process?

Understand that this means that there is no way that the individual afflicted can accomplish the task without someone else taking action on his/her part.

For instance, I cannot call people on the phone under particular circumstances. I am incapable. I can try to talk in person, but even then, they have to talk to me first. I can answer the phone, maybe, but I cannot initiate. This is very complex really, I don't want to get to much into it. Im just looking for other people's personal experiences of a similar nature, so maybe I won't feel so messed up about it.

You know how we can use our brains to some kind of effect on our bodies, such as:

When you think of happy thoughts the brain releases chemicals in the body to create an emotion for the thought.

And when we have a headache we take pills thinking it will feel better, and it does.

Could we use that brain power to affect our surrounding?

For example, thinking you are having a bad day and bad things begin to happen or thinking of success and things come into place from that thought.

Sometimes a police negotiator will step in to calm down those who have a gun held to their head. What is the best way to approach them? Many people incorrectly say "I know what it feels like." when sometimes there isn't ANY possibility of them knowing what that person has gone through!

But to get someone to put a gun down when it is aimed at their head has to be a pretty tough task. Any thoughts?

Does it change the way you feel? Depending on what kind of movie you watch though...like after a scary movie, do you feel scared throughout the rest of the day/week? after movies like v for vendetta, do you feel the world isn't really a safe place? or after movies showing documentaries about the holocaust, do you feel the world is evil? after movies like sisterhood of the traveling pants, do you feel more appreciative towards your friends? etc...if you do, why do you think it impacts us that way?

***IMPORTANT*** Read the following FIRST. Create a mental image of the following and what happened:

A 34-year-old man drives home from work one Friday afternoon. While passing through an intersection, another vehicle runs a red and strikes the man's car. The man is terribly injured. The ambulance arrives. On the way, he tells the paramedic "I don't want to die" but he dies shortly after arriving in the hospital.

Okay, think about this man. What was he like? What was his job? Think about the whole story and CREATE A MENTAL PICTURE of what happened!

Now, go down for the question...

...

Keep going...

...

...

...

...

...

Keep going...

...

...

...

...

...

Almost there...

...

....

Okay, now the question: what was the man like: hair color, height, width, eye color, clothing, age, and most importantly ETHNICITY. Was this man white, black, Asian, Hispanic, or other, and why did you think this? ;)

I'm female, and I'm straight, but in about half my dreams I'm male. I never look in the mirror, or anything; I just know I'm a guy. Last night, I was enagaged to someone.

Does that happen to anyone else?
