My neighbor was afraid of frogs too. If you want to get over it, you should see a psychologist. They help people with phobias by helping them interact with them step by step. Being afraid of something as common as frogs must be really annoying, but don't feel bad, a girl I used to know was afraid of sock puppets.

A phobia is an irrational fear of something or someone. According to this definition, yes, you have a phobia.

I'm just interested to know how you were able to type the 'f' word since doing so might cause you to get a mental image of the little guy. Maybe you're cured!

It sounds like a phobia to me. I would say that the real question you need to ask yourself is whether or not this is something that is interfering in your life on a fairly regular basis and if so, perhaps you should seek help for it. If not, it may just always be a personal eccentricity of yours.

Yes but the fear you have is unfounded I'm sure. Unless you were attacked by frogs and didn't tell us.

Or in a previous life you were killed by the chemical from the back of a "poison dart frog".

I've never heard of that. I'm sorry for you. I actually love to eat frog legs... maybe eating some would cure your phobia.

You most likely suffer from Batrachophobia -> fear of amphibians, such as frogs, newts, salamanders, etc.

Its ok everyone has phobias. Dont worry about it.

I would say so, but I couldn't find the official name for it. Mine is moths, so don't feel bad. It's easier to avoid frogs than moths.
