Hi. I was bullied at my last highschool, and now I have trouble remembering alot of things that were going on, because I kept blocking them out. I know their still in there somewhere, but thats not helping. Do you have any suggestions on how I can bring these memories back up, so I can work through these issues and resolve the past, without it bothering me anymore? Thanks.

Opps sorry about the spelling of "tourble", I know thats trouble!
I thought maybe writing down everything I remember might help, than I would remember more stuff I could add?

Okay. I can understand where you're coming from. Our minds have their own automatic defenses and selective amnesia is one of its defenses. If you want to remember things in your past - you can either write down the things you do remember and work from there. Or if your need is urgent, I would suggest asking a psychologist or psychiatrist to regress you. But be careful because sometimes, some things are better left alone.

You could try writing it down. But if what you want is to remember so that you can work through it and resolve it, I think you should be seeing a therapist.

Write it down would help clarify what of the things that happened to you but to get through it, you should done more than that... Besides seeeking professional's help, you should get over it, I mean you REALLY should... You said it was at your high school, and now it's all over right? So just get moving on with life, do other things that you think you should do like helping others... Helping others means helping yourself... I hope you would get through it ....

It's all to simple my dear.
You relax and then concentrate on this phrase.
That was then and it's over, this is now and I'm safe.
Once you get it in your head that the bullies are really out of your life you will be fine

For me, looking through my yearbook and looking at the pictures of the people from the time it was all happening spark some memories for me.

Try to remember one thing at a tme, it helps me. I'm very forgetful and if i do things right away then I don't have to remember them anymore so have a try at that!
