Why ..because time is in motion constantly...we are leaving the past and living the future..there is no timless moment..or portion of time that is not effected by the passage of time.so where is the present moment in time ???

Whoever blantantly believes that lesbians are the majority of the feminist community, read up.
The stigma is so negative but the root of feminism is to achieve equal rights between women and men. Not that they are supposed 'dykes' or man-haters.

I live in a terrace house. There is a very small yard (about 1 metre by 3 metres) seperating the pavement from the front door. I try to keep this area tidy as its the entrance to the house. My neighbours use their front yard railings to hang their washing on - like gipsies. They even hang them on the railing that seperates our 2 properties. Oh, and they have a big smelly black dog that lives in the front yard and jumps up over the clothes. They also have a load of junk in the front yard.

This behaviour baffles (the back yard is much larger and I dry my clothes there) and disgusts me. Do you agree that they are mingers or do you think this is ok?

My mom had a massive stroke in March and as a result has a trach.
She was in the hospital/rehab for 3 months fighting for her life, literally.
She came home in June and is in decent shape, meaning she has all her faculties and is able to get around with her walker.
Her biggest obstacle is the trach. You see, I am 29 years old and am her primary caretaker.
I am in desperate need of help.
I do everything for her...trach care, bath/showers, meals, finances, doctor appts....everything.
In addition, I also work full time. Her insurance has cut off all her services. They took the home health aide away from her and
stopped all VNS/Physical Therapist visits. I just do not know what to do. I have even considered paying out of pocket, but that does not even work.
I have contacted many home care agencies and the aides do not want to come because she has a trach...liability issues.
If I purse an RN & LPN, they will cost $40-$60 per hour...that would be out of pocket and extremely expensive.

I am dire need of help and so is she. She has come so far and I don't want to see her go downhill.

We have seen what is happening in Cambodia, African countries and the middle east. We have witnessed genocide, murder, starvation and peodophilia (to name a few) and our governments seem to do nothing. How can our countries stand back and do nothing while this happens, and what can we as individuals do?
