Admit I'm wrong. The first time was sheer bravery now it's just habit.

Hicking along a bush track with about a half dozen friends in a National park and stumbbling accross a few spot fires (little did we know at the time that a fire bug was ahead ) we raced back to the nearest creek and soaked our towels in the water and raced back. The first few fires wern't that bad as they'd only just started and smoothered quickly,by the time in reaching the last two they were realling taking hold and our towels were drying out.At one point the flames had circled me and the wind was strengthening. With only one way out, it was to jump over the flames which I did but the lead up to that jump was hell raising, others said it was brave.Anyway the fire crews arrived with their water packs and took over wheew. The following day in the news paper it read,Hikers save national park !.

The bravest thing that I ever did was to leave my husband and take my two sons to raise on my own in a city where I had no family. I later divorced him and now my two sons are excellent men and I am a grandmother of three wonderful children. My ex-husband was having babies with other women and beating me and I did not want my sons growing up in that environment. So, I think that it was really brave of me to take the steps that I took to enable my sons to be great fathers, husbands, etc. Now, they are both married with children. My youngest was in diapers when I vacated from my ex-husband. Thank you Jesus for your support. Thank you for your question.

I was working in a bank.
We'd been held up at gunpoint three days in a row - same guy, same cashier.
On the third day two of us had a sense of humour failure and decided to catch the bastard and kick the living sh*t out of him.
We didn't, but it was scary and fun at the same time chasing this guy down the high-street.
We were disciplined by the bank for breaching the policy guidelines in hold-up situations.

Confronted my mother about her completely terrible abuse of my good nature.

Did this just yesterday and hated every second of it, yet knew it had to be done. Still feel bad about it, but I guess there comes a time when the children have to educate the parents....at least that's what I'm telling myself! I'm now a 28 year old parent to my 52 year old mother!!!

It's not actually that much, but the only thing that comes to mind, is actually having the guts to tell a girl how much I care about her, in front of all our friends.

I'd been trying to tell her for a while, and never had the guts to say it when we were alone, yet somehow, I managed to say it to her when there were a dozen other people around.

I saved my brother from getting bit by a rapid dog and got bitten in the lip. I had to endure a rabies shot every day for a month.

stood up to a princess (she was a nut and from another country, not saying foreigners are nuts, just her) and told her if she soon didn't stop messing with my friend (she was clobbering him and trying to destroy a good relationship... for a year!) i'd have to do something about it and that would be deportation but not before i called the sheriff's department...

she trapped me in my buddies house and pulled a dam gun on me... (i wasn't sure if it was loaded) i sat down and told her to calm down because there wasn't anyone here that knows her and that the whole gun idea is just obsurd... she started yelling around trying to see if her former lover was in the house.. he wasn't of course... and i had locked his new g.f. in the bedroom upstairs.. she escaped out the window..

the invader female trying to destroy everyone's life for the past year heard some noises.. looked around i flipped the table she dropped the gun i kicked it so far it went under something.. she didn't bother trying to get it.. i grabbed her purse... and a few other things, opened the door tossed the stuff out and shut the door behind me...

i called the police department on my cell phone... and during that she was running all around the house screaming bloody murder... she soon came out the door chasing me... i ran away from the house towards the highway.. she followed me!

by the time i reached the end of the driveway there popped in the police.. one of the fastest response times i ever seen!

the grabbed me asked me who i was.. i pointed towards her explaining i called and she was causing trouble and there was a gun...

the detained her... they followed me into the house i pointed to where the gun may be.. they found it..

they talked to my buddy and his g.f. came over to me going... wow that sucked big time.... she was nervous, he was annoyed.. the cops straightened the crazy woman out and asked if we wanted to press charged.. my friend said no.. (good god!) so they escorted the crazy woman away.. the remainder of us sat down a few to catch our breath and then talked about maybe going to a resturant get fed and drunk and go to my friends house in the next state and try to shake off the karma of that day.

:D

there!
