A great book for you the check out is Animal Speak..I forget the author, but search it on amazon and you should find it. It is about animal totem/ spirit guides and describes a whole slew of charataristics that animals and people share which is basically a collection on spiritual animals and their symbolism in diffrent cultures, mostly on Native Americans though. If you check out the "New Age" sections of any majior bookstore you can find it, or have them order it.
