I think we live in a inadvertant sexually opressed society, where women are supposed to be free to be objects... We are "free", but over sexualized by the media. Women are used as sex objects to sell everything to men and women. We can show almost the entire flesh of a breast, but god forbid anyone see a nipple. What is up with that?

P.S. I'm not referring to the sex trade as it is a completely seperate issue to me.

Ive read alot of new paper atricles about Hillary Clinton and her "womans power" being put into her Presidential Campain. But I dont really agree with any of her campain propaganda.I dont feel she will deliver the things she promises. But I almost feel obligated to vote for her,for president because shes a woman.I'm all for woman empowerment, but I dont want to vote for her.
Does sex diversify this campain,or should I go with my gut feeling and vote for a man?

it the one where they stop selling whoppers for a day. i could care less about most of the commercial, but they end it with some guy saying that without the whopper, burger king should be called burger queen.... now, why did they bk have to include that??? to me, its saying that to be called a queen, is to be of less power and worse than a king, so kinda sexist right? anyone agree? disagree? love whoppers?

I'm sans children, so I'm not fully aware of the dynamics. Have you experienced and/or witnessed this? What are your thoughts on the frequency of such a thing? Does this occur with fathers and sons as well?

Yes, everyone could drive less, recycle, etc., but I am wondering about some of the more interesting things feminists are doing to reduce greenhouse gases. I have heard of this thing called a mooncup. Do any of you feminists use it?

What are your thoughts on the following statement?

"From the time she starts, girls are encouraged and favoured by the 80% plus female teachers. Boys are left to their own ends to struggle through an unfriendly anti-male environment. all the way through the educational system, they are subjected to anti-male propaganda and discouraged from pursuing high academic achievement as they favour females only. the majority of university students are women, as all universities have clearly demonstrated, they favour female applicants."

Feminism strives for female independence from men such that women don't depend on men as their financial providers. Suppose for a moment that, per Mike T's question, that feminism is unnatural. Namely that women innately yearn for a provider, whether they claim to or not. What happens when, because of feminism, that provider is not there? Who then becomes the provider?

I notice that women overhwhelmingly seem to support nationalized health care (which is a communist-like control of 12% of the American economy). The justification more often than not seems to be some sense of communal caring...A desire to be "taken care of", if you will.

Is the political position that so many women take on health care a result of this desire to be cared for combined with a sense that they are not financially being taken care of on a personal level? Is communism the "natural" goal (or at least end-result) of feminism?

I prefer breasts because boobs objectifies them. The same with a man's body parts.

Feminists always talk about equality.. yet when looking for a romantic partner.. they prefer a man who makes more MONEY than them.. or at least makes as much.

Women marry UP as much as possible.

Now how can any man take feminsm seriously when most women out their are still dong and expecting certain things to be like the pre-womens rights era? How many women are willing to support men and marry DOWN? Very few.

Here's a YouTube clip of an interview that Oprah did with Larry King where she explains why she is endorsing Obama and how she feels about Hillard. Do you find it enlightening? From a feminist point of view, do you approve or disapprove of how she handles talking about HIllard?
