I consider myself to be a bit of a feminist.. I'm not ugly, I'm not a lesbian or any of the horrible names a lot men would probably resort to calling me. i have a boyfriend and am very happy with him, cause he understands and respects my views. What gets me is the way so many guys react to feminism. They resort to childish name calling and bombarding us with negative representations and what not.
Its really pathetic that they can't just accept that things are changing and get on with it (which is supposed to be a masculine trait).. I put it down to ignorance or maybe even a fear that their gender is under threat?

Sticky situation here. I am in the process of a divorce. I ran into my former ex bf from 5 years ago and we hooked up. Here is where it gets sticky. His house burned down shortly after we fought about nothing. He moved in with his ex wife and it's been purely like roommates. His ex and I are like friends. So, we've been seeing each other for a while now. We made a mistake and went too far, from which I could be pregnant. He called me later on that day and said that he will do whatever I want, including moving in together. I think he's already started that, becuase he phoned me saying that his ex turned out to be jealous and that she had given him three weeks to move out. He wants this to go as smoothly as possible, so he asked me not to call for a couple of weeks to avoid any more trouble. I know for a fact they are not doing anything from knowing his ex so well and having gotten close. The three weeks thing, is he really working no getting out or is he running?

Slutiness is all over the media, but 'giving it away' is frowned upon.
If Paris Hilton, the most slutiest of all sluts, is on the cover of 'Teen' magazine, but we discourage being a slut, isn't that sending mixed messeges to everyone? especially young teenage girls? I was reading Teen magazine when I was 13 and Paris Hilton was certainly not on the cover then! Otherwise I wouldn't have been allowed to read it!
Whats your take on this subject?

I know of all the magazines, etc, out there that appeal to women. What websites, publications, etc, give a true image of what women care about, feel, etc, that a man could read and maybe get a little better perception on how the average woman ticks. It seems to me the more you know, the better you will be to them...any tips?

I think I do because:
He puts me above everyone else.
He never NEVER starts arguments, if they start-I did.
He never speaks badly of others.
He helps with housework, does all laundry, most of the cleaning.
He would rather be with me than anyone else.
He does not mind my dad living here since he is old (my dad).
I had two children previously and he helps raise them.
We had a baby and he helped a LOT with the baby.
He works a full time job.
He does not drink a lot or do drugs.
If my day is bad, he rubs my back until I fall asleep.
He rubs my feet almost every day.
He goes and fills my tank up if I don't want to go get gas before I go somewhere.

Ladies, if you knew my husband, YOU would make yours get it together. You would realize that you should never settle for who is there, but go find the BEST!!

Now, who has a husband that they are satisfied with?

i work in a bar and i ve been there for almost a year now. my uniform is a pink dress (really short) with slits on the sides and nude pantyhose. everyday i have guyz looking up my dress and touching my leg. i get tips and i need to money so i didn't quite the job and just put up with them.

Now i think they have gone a bit too far. one group of guyz about 6 of them, spilled like some beer on me. i wasn't an accident because all of them grabbed hold on me and pretended to wipe. No, they were running their hands through my legs and splitting them. some of them grabbed my dress since its so short, it went all the way up. hella other guys were looking. dang. i had a tray of drinks in my other hand and i cant move. i had to stay there for like a few minutes. and like their hands all went under my dress and touched me in the wrong places. What would you do?

This is not a kinky question nor is it intended to offend anyone. I've known different women to react differently to such situations. As a woman, do you get flattered? Angry? Offended? Uncomfortable? Why do you feel the way that you do?

(For us men it is different, as most guys would get offended or feel weird if that happened. I'd like to understand and know if women feel the same way, or not.)

I 've watched both movies yesterday with some friends. They were funny, but still, there's a lot of emotion behind. Was wondering if a lot of ladies out there identify themselves to Bridget. How sinilar is your life to her's ?

Ever since my daughter started attending college she's been taking womens studies/feminist classes, and I think her college is brainwashing her. She has become obsessed and radical about feminist-issue related things and it has gotten to the point where she yells at strangers (men) who open doors for her out of politeness. She tells them that the reason they open doors for her is because they think she's too weak to open it herself cause she's a woman.
How can I get her to stop being so radical, and is her college brainwashing her?
