Driving across Texas, she gets tired and checks into a hotel. She showers, leaves the hotel, and eats dinner. When she returns to her room, a hispanic man knocks on the door and says, “Your very beautiful” and he’s crepy so she slams the door on his face and continues to get ready to sleep. Then another guy knocks on the door and she ignores it and he starts to say she’s beautiful too … She gets asleep and then the phone rings at 2:00 AM and a black man’s voice says, “Let's get it on baby….” and she hangs up quickly-then an Indonesian guy is at the door saying “I've got something to make you feel good “.

Then when she call’s 911, the operator treats her like she’s a prostitute too and only after she tells the 911 operator shes from out of state, operator agrees to send the police - meanwhile, the phone keeps ringing and men keep knocking for 4 hours until the cops show up-then the cop’s accuse her of being a prostitute- What is she to do?

True story, I'm not liking Texas!

Ok, I've noticed that men today are about as helpless as us women ... can't paint ... fix stuff ... and men expect everything to be handed to them. It also appears that men who've been raised only by their mothers are really helpless ... So, has feminism destroyed the raising of the young men???

Let's look at a neutral setting like the office.

Why won't the conservatively dressed women dress to kill?

Would this happen in an all girls school where the staff are all women?

Say a woman gets pregnant, and wants an abortion. There is no health risk associated with the pregnancy, and the father offers to take care of the child with no parental or financial obligations extended to the mother. Would it be right for her to abort the baby anyway?

In my years of grade school and college, I noticed that the American educational system is very politically controled. For instance:

- Black history emphasizes on whites opression blacks, but hardly mention the many whites that fought and died for blacks.

- Woman's history emphasizes men who oppressed women. Yet, it hardly mentions the men who greatly helped women in their strugles. Think about it, if women couldn't vote, who gave them the right to? If women could work, who gave them their first jobs?

- Science teaches The Theory of Evolution, (which has never been proven, thus "theory") but will not teach the theory of Creationalism. At least, not with the same time and detail. It could be taught from a vaig, neutral point. Many believe in Creationalism, including Muslims, Christians, Catholics, and many others.

Has anyone else noticed this? Aren't these all discriminative?
I'm of Puerto Rican decent, and I've noticed this bias in our systems.

Thank you.

This sounds really meaningful. But is it realistic?

Dolores O'Riordan: Lead Vocalist, The Cranberries: "I am in no position to judge other women, you know. But I mean, why did she get pregnant? It's not good for women to go through the procedure [abortion] and have something living sucked out of their bodies. It belittles women. Even though some women say, 'Oh, I don't mind to have one,' every time a woman has an abortion, it just crushes her self-esteem smaller and smaller and smaller." (Source: You! June/July 1996)

When we are with friends, he uses to do hold them, kiss them, and touch their hands in a way that seems to me too intimate… I really don't like it. Moreover, his friends do not behave the same way to me. I told him, but he said that it is nothing serious, just a joke and that those women just like it. But it still bothers me. When I try to tell him so, he usually becomes so offensive to me. Is it OK, or am I too sensitive? Please, tell me what to do?

Though I am against abortions, I am equally against violent methods to stop them. Such as bombing abortion clinics. I am especially frustrated when those who do such things then say "It's what Jesus wanted". I want to see them tell Jesus that on judgment day.

Nonetheless, I completely support nonviolent methods of pursuading pro-choicers or advocates of abortion. Some are able to do so with speaches, some with testimonies, and some with videos.

Yet, pro-choicers are often especially angry when one uses footage as a pursuasive tool, as some have done on Yahoo! Answers. In some cases the question will be as simple as the following:

"Pro-choicers, what do you think of this video?
....link...."

Pro-choicers then react as if the one who asked this question was a barbarian or violent. When, in reality, the asker asked a simple question and let the video do the talking. Why do pro-choicers have such an exceptionaly strong reaction to abortion videos?

Thank you for all and any answers.
