It means that is where she chose to have the tat put. I have quite a number of female friends and acquaintances with tats on their lower back. None of their tats have any significant meaning in relationship to their placement. A lot of girls though wear their tops and pants where the tat will show. It is a good place for a tat that you might want to hide later in life.

Okay this is kind of a dumb question!! I have a tattoo on my lower back, It does'nt mean any thing, I met an artist when I was 32--I loved his work so he designed a tattoo for me. I wasn't really sure I wanted one, so when I do get older it will be in a place that is private to me. People do not have to have a reason, nor does everything have to have a meaning.Contrary to the old saying; there is a reason for everything! People should not be judged simply because they have tattoos! thousands of Doctors, lawyers, judges, vetrinarians, teachers, and nurses have them! All very respectable people, your not going to stop sending your kid to school because their teacher has a tattoo, or not seek medical attention because your doctor has one, so stop with the dumb questions and the judging!! Our country has way more important things to worry about so why don't you use your mind in a more constructive way!!!

At some point in the late 90's it sems all these chicks spred this nasty trend. Personally its a turn off. Same with the belly button rings and the fake boobs. Nothing like a clean natural fine female. I

It means that right now, she's really cool and hip because that's where everyone else is getting them, but it also means that in a couple of years, she is going to be stuck walking around in something that is seriously out of style!

i depends on the tat, i peronally have one and it says my girlfriends name, she wanted me to put it there so everyone can see it ,when i were sexy or half tops, or if we break up the other person that i get with will see it when there hittin it from the back

it depends on the design. i have a vine on my lower back that spells my husbands name. but you have to look hard to see the name in it. it just looks decretive.
