Seem that human all over the world opted and try their best to cover their head and let the rest of their body wet! I also have seen an ape do the similar thing by getting a big leaf to cover their head during a National Geographic Society documentary film. If we dont have any suitable cover available, why not just walk in the rain without trying to cover the head even with our own hand! - just like kids having fun in the rain! Why should we cover our head whilst the whole body is batterred by the rain? It does'nt make sense!

There was a practice from time immemorial (even existing today) among Indians of preserving a piece of the umblical chord of the newborn in a small metal casket (talisman) and tieing this talisman around the waist of the child.

There's no doubt that Sadam Hussein is a brutal tyrant - but is he what that country actually needs ?

His trial is being criticised as possibly not being entirly legal by Amnistry International and UN overseers and now with this sentence of him being put to death the stoning scene in Monty Python's Life of Brian springs to mind - not even Blair, the village idot who runs our country feels he should be put to death and for once I actually agree with him.

And then there is the issue of why he is on trial in the first place. The way I understand it on the Kurds issue he had a load of them killed after an assination attempt on his life. There is more violence in Iraq now after his downfall than when he was in charge. Logic tells me that this is a violent race - and they're also obsessed with religion. Here in England we have done all that and bought the teeshirt it was called the 'Dark Ages' - these people are still in the dark ages and are a long way from the new religion we've got here

The Welsh are considered to be the only Northern Europeans considered to be predominantly dark-haired, dark-eyed, and olive skinned. Yet, the Celtic peoples of Scotland are predominantly fair. Interestingly enough, the Irish seem to take a middle ground with most posessing dark hair but blue eyes. Because of their dark colouring are the Welsh in actuality descendents of Romans and not Celts?

From everything I have seen it seems like it takes animals thousands of years to evolve and they do so to be able to survive in their niche of the ecosystem. Since we have surpassed this need, are we still evolving. The average height of humans has increased in the past few centuries. Normally, the female of a species would try and mate with the creature who is best suited to survive. That isn't really true in our case so does that preclude us from evolving anymore? If we are evolving, then what are we evolving into?
