What do you think is the greatest significance to modern society, in finding "Lucy"?

Sorry. I guess I didn't make myself very clear(6a.m, exam @9) I meant Johanson's discovery of Lucy in Ethiopia. Well, it was a short essay question, and I answered briefly and succintly: though she had physical characteristic of the chimp (long arms, short legs, etc.),she had a pelvic and knee structure that indicated she was bipedal.

Lucy is a big grasp at a straw idea, she if far from a complete skeleton and found at different levels in the dirt and 20 yards apart.
