Solve et Coagula ,Baphomet,Solve et Coagula. To Slayer:I can't prove or disprove evolution but it could feasibly be true and it isn't insulting to the intelligence ,do you honestly believe a big invisible man waved his hands and made the world in seven days by magic like in the bible?Come on it sounds as ridiculous as ME CLAIMING I MADE THE UNIVERSE, you probably also believe in the tooth fairy and that the moon is made of cheese. And I resent the fact that every time someone tries to solve the mystery of the universe you push that christian crap on them, let them speculate ...it makes the world more interesting. Quit taking every opportunity to try to prove to yourself that christianity makes sense,it doesn't from a rational standpoint only from a spiritual one like ALL RELIGION.I don't mind when people delude themselves ,but quit trying to delude others.

I've always thought that the next stage in human evolution may be the ability to use a larger part of our brains or that we may become taller and more athletic looking.

I don't think there will be any more human evolution. I think we are going to blow ourselves off the face of the earth before anything else can change. Either that or the next ice age will begin & wipe out a large chunk of the population.
Cheery today, aren't I?

You'll get a lot of wishes, but not very many of them are "most likely."

In my opinion, we don't have enough information to tell. The next step in our evolution will likely be from some drastic change in our environment such that even human medicine or intelligence can't avert the calls of natural disaster.

Barring such great environmental change, I actually see no progression in our evolution in the foreseeable future. Like I said, medicine and intelligence have prevented natural selection from working effectively, and without it, evolution will only be based on breeding and culture, which would likely be slow to nil.

More likely, the next step in our evolution will be biotechnological--or, in some way at least, using our intelligence to further our own abilities toward more like some of the other responses...

Personally though, I believe messing around with our genes will actually be a grave mistake, will ruin most of the natural complexity inherent in our species, and could very well drive us to extinction if we're not careful. But that's just me.

The most recent trends show us that there is likely to be more obesity and people will get taller. I think our brains will get bigger as we take in more information and learn more things, added to the protein in our diet from meat that is consistent with the evolution of the human brain from monkeys.

I heard a quote on tv, " the future man will be physically strong with a small penis"

Our brains will expand, we will have less use for some of our organs, our bodies will shrink as the brain will become more active than it has ever been and we will evolve into the "Grey" Aliens.Who in turn is our future selves from the very distant future, who come back to earth to study man ( its earlier self ) on its evolutionary path.

Teeth need to replace themselves, like a shark's. Mothers should be able to choose the time of their baby's birth, like a kangaroo. And of course, a pouch would keep the little one safe and warm while you don't need to pay for a child minder.
And do we really need body hair any more?
And what about a valve in our ankles - oops - I've put on a stone. I'll just open this valve and lo and behold, a stone in fat drains away.

Our legs will get shorter because we hardly walk anywhere anymore.

Or bellies and backsides will get bigger because we eat too much.

Our arms will get longer because everyone is out for themselves.

Our brains will get smaller because all everyone does is watch reality TV

In a nutshell we'll all go back to being apes.
