I know they had white skin because they used to live in places where the sun was usually "hidden". But the blue eyes and blonde hair?

I recall watching a video in World History about what I believe was an ancient Buddhist temple. It's been bothering me for some time that I can't remember where it is or what it is even called (I would like to visit it someday). It's huge, and covered in carved panels that described the path to enlightenment. Any ideas? It's just one of those things that gets into your head and you can't shake. So, if any of you know anything about archaeology, buddhism, or geography, I'd appreciate it if you'd help me out! Thanks!

how many pre homo sapien sapiens were there? i realize there technically is no end to such a list, but just go back until a few before the first hominoid or farther if your feeling spiffy.

I reckon we are, because although we all get excited when a Gorilla uses an Abacus, I don't recall them inventing anything like the microwave or TV. Do we get our intelligence from other beings not yet known of?

I'm kinda confused about the whole timeline of evolution/creation.
How did it all come together if God created man in His image, certainly He didn't create Neanderthal's to rule the earth.

If your answer is no, then how the hell you believe that a much more sophisticated creature like humans evolved from anything even our own parents?

OK, well, the ape very slowly began to evolve into a different species way back millions of years ago. It was evolving along slowly, and eventually there was the neanderthal man. And then suddenly, for no reason, a completely different human showed up- the first homo sapien. The two species were different enough to be incompatable sexually. Thats what the scientists call The Missing Link. Obviously, something must have happened in there. So maybe the ape-men may have ended up smarter and more advances, but they might not look just like we do now, and it ought to have taken millions more years.

The question is, what was it that jumpstarted the homo sapiens? Any ideas?

Like, I know every race in the world is different, blah blah blah, but surely the 'oriental eye' is a result of evolution. We (my housemates and I) thought it could have been due to sunlight but then thered be so man other races with slanty eyes.

Any ideas

Since the very beginning of our existance as consciouss creatures, the Homo Sapiens seeks ways to express themselves, their feelings, desires, wishes, dreams and thoughts.
Through language, art, music, inventions, philosophies we express our inmost personallities shaping our world.

So, I wonder, which was the first used by humans to express themselves - the drawing (cave paintings, prehistoric symbols, even building patterns?) or the spoken language?
