Evolution is not directional or progressive. Your question makes no sense to an evolutionist. Perhaps you meant to say more complex; then it would depend on the animal and would be debated fiercely, by some.

In a certain respect, all living things evolve. In Fairmead, California, there is an active paleontological dig which has uncovered bones from horses about the size of sheep and sloths that were 20 feet long.

However, no creature anywhere or at any time has evolved to the level of the human being. And the key difference isn't just biological evolution, but cultural evolution.

What other animal has developed a complex political structure? What other animal has a communication system that can express past and future tense? What other animal has a brain so complex that it can conceive of flying to the moon?

Other animals may be admired for their adaptions. Dolphins are mammals that have almost perfect adaptation to the sea. They are among the most remarkable animals know to us. Yet, can a dolphin plan a city? Invent a computer? Develop a synthetic medicine? Tell a joke? Control the flow of electricity?

Our closest genetic relatives, the apes, live the same way that they did 10,000 years ago. During that same time, human beings formed villages, developed agriculture, built the Acropolis, learned abstract thought and converted that into philosophy, erected skyscrapers, orbited the earth, televised images, and invented pantyhose.

No animal that exists or ever existed has ever accomplished 1/1,000,000 of the capacity of a "C" student in high school.

. Well, since humans are animals, no. I am going to talk about the question using the definitions of the scientific community, as evolution is a scientific field of study.
. More evolved would have to mean being the product of more evolutionary forks in the road. Some animals, like hydra, have not made many forks in the road. Some, like horses, anthropoids and sparrows, have gotten to be what they are due to Many, Many forks in the road. For animals as evolved as whales and humans, it is not possible to know how many forks in the road have led to the current species, or which has passed more of those forks in the road.

Humans are animals-literally. Human is an animal, just like dogs or horses or birds. Personally I think the other animals being more evolved.

in comparison to OTHER animals in the animal kingdom us humans are relitavely new to the whole existence thing... take a cockroach for instance, been around millions of years, near unharmed by nuclear radiation, able to survive a week with its head cut off. the list goes on, as far as "humans" go. we've only been around for a mere 100k years or so.. not quite long enough to classify as spectacular. In my own "Opinion" we are the least evolved species on the planet due to us basicly just having branched off of neanderthals.

Every species alive is equally evolved as everything has been evolving for an equal amount of time.

depends on the paradigm. If you're thinking linear we have no way of knowing. If socially, it would be them. If technologically, it would be us, if intellectually, we don't know what intelligence is, if................see what I mean. Let's say for instance intelligence and love are the same thing, where would that put us on the evolutionary scale compared to them?

There is no evolution! How long will it take atheists to understand that we're to complex to be an accident of nature!? He created us the way we are now, and we haven't evolved and never will! How long will it take people to understand that evolution is a LIE?!?!
