Has anyone ever heard of an ashkdaan, which is something people would use to hold their tears in? A long time ago, before salt, people would save their tears and then use it as a flavoring in food. My mother has one that she found in Israel and she tells me it's thousands of years old. I've never heard of this.

Is there any evidence to suggest that a male's affinity for sports (throwing football/baseball) has any link to the behaviour of early human ancestors (males throwing spears/rocks to hunt)?

Don't say the world would be boring or it wouldn't be worth living because we wouldn't even know they existed. If we were born without emotion, we would know no different.

How long before we begin to cull our own species, not by war, famine or disease, but actually take the decision to cut down our numbers before we have no space left to grow enough food to feed us all? If it is ethically OK for us to take the decision to control population size in other species, why would it be so wrong to ensure our own 'survival of the fittest' by having a cull of the weaker human members of our population?
(Before you get all hot and bothered, I'm not suggesting that it is a good option, I just want to know how it stands as a resolution to increasing population in a moral stance).

I've had this best friend, since college. She is sometimes manipulative, and she isn't very trustworthy, and at times she can be down right immature and irresponsible. I love her like a sister though, she does have some good qualities, but I feel like she is immoral and dishonest a lot. She constantly disappoints me and doesn't keep her promises. I've written her off but am I wrong? Would you try and salvage the friendship?
