What does Durkheim mean by the Anomie Theory? How does this relate to the process of urbanization and modernization?

Well, Durkheim was a structuralist.. He always wanted to argue that an object or practice served the purpose of contiunuing the culture or the trend of a culture..But I cannot decipher your spelling. Anomie? No.. I can't parce it out.
