i was killed by this sereal killer with all of these character from this show i like but havent watched in the longest time. our bodies were dumped down to the bottom of an elevator shaft and it was crammed and smelt horrible. and there was a certain time of day only where you could get out. we were sort of like ghosts then and we had to disguise in the clothes that the bad people wore in their office. then we snuck out into these hallways and had to go into each room with sad memories. none of them were mine but i going see the people going in and hearing thigns then coming out crying. finally it was just to sad for me i like sort of shook myself out of it

what does all that mean?

this was the dream:

I was standing in water - maybe knee deep, water surrounding all around. Everywhere around me were spirits walking aimlessly on on the water. One woman spirit approached me. at that point i started praying to the Lord - at that moment i woke up - still praying out loud. I was so scared even when i awoke.

Would anyone have any insight as to what this was?

I have never understood it. Why some people prefers that instead of a serious relantionship? Do not you think is an empty experience?

They love statistics only when they suit their cause, but when statistics on the economy show vast improvement for everyone, they simply dismiss them. The poor are working more than under Clinton (although I give Clinton some credit for his welfare reform in 1996 as well as the strong economy of the present). Doesn't it have to start somewhere? My grandparents WORKED their way out of poverty, and never expected the government to save them. The uninsured still make up 15.3% which is the same as under Clinton (although our population keeps rising). I hear Hillary use the 47 million figure, but NEVER the 15.3% figure. Many of those people make OVER 75K! They CHOOSE not to buy it so they can get a bigger house or 3rd car. How is that Bush's fault? Can't Liberals ever acknowledge improvement? It's always a black cloud. It's not going to happen overnight!

Please avoid the rhetoric.

I think this was a Freudian theory..trust Freud. I personally have never met a girl who envied a man's penis. I did hear a story in nursing however about a little girl that cut off her brothers penis. The father on rushing his son to hospital nocked the little girl down. Probably an urban myth.

The above quote is attributed to Marshall McLuhan. I came across it while studying some of his other work. I guess I may not understand it for a couple of reasons but I was wondering if anyone might understand what he may have meant by this.

Thank you for any insights into this puzzling quote.

I am not stupid and I certainly understand that my personal fear has no rational point but I'm just terrified of people and what they think of me. I am a 24 year old girl and I don't shop, if I have to shop for something it's an ordeal simply because I assume EVERYONE is looking at me, laughing at me and generally judging me unfairly.
I know it steams from my years at academy and I must have built up almost a phobia but knowing this doesn't help me now. It can actually be quite crippling and I can get stressed to the point of tears. For me this is not normal, I am a very strong willed person and I wholeheartedly stick up for the rights of the under dog all the time but when it comes to me, Im a whimpering mess.
I'm not telling my pathetic sob story but i was wondering if anyone had experience getting over this kind of thing? I have been thinking hypnotherapy for a while but I'm assuming most of them are hacks? I guess I cant get Paul McKenna though.
I'd appreciate any pointers.
thanks

suppose that your job is :

very stressfull,
less paid (like pocket money),
multidisiplinary ,
time consuming,
the places are dirty,
unfair,
it is your supplementary work (like spare time work -not your main profession).

what should i consider before quitting this kind of job ? i cant decide what to do because i got accustomed to be there for a long time.

shall i give a break or resign forever ?

i have a right to give a break in theory, but my managers wont be happy with it and probably they will make psychological pressure on me by saying "you shoudlnt have given a break. couldnt you continue 1 day in a week ? it is very negative point for you. your abilities wont improve during the break." etc. they will interpose the same thigns when i came back too.
they expect you to devote yourself to that thing. i ve other needs and my nerves arent made of iron. those caprices will hurt me. so i thought it is better to quit it forever.

what do you think ?
