Because the companies who brew their poisons are paying the most to have the prime advertising slots on T.V.
The government are seemingly oblivious to this, yet they're the first to step up to the plate and slam the younger generations for being hooked on drinking and smoking and underage sex e.t.c.
Why's that then?
Because they're taking a nice fat back hander from the drink manufacturers and the tobacco firms on top of the extortionate taxes that they slap on them.

Its called customers for life...
Sorry but it is the truth, as wrong as it is, it obviously works and the younger they start, the longer they will be buying it...
Just like McDonald's (my fiance told me) they love to have little kids hooked on their fattening poor excuse for food because that way they will have "customers for life" and the kids bring in the parents and then we can all become addicted and die young of poor health and a clogged artery.
Oh and because kids are easier to influence than adults... Well some of them....

Because the economic paradigm of industrial production and mass marketing requires an ever growing population of new consumers, and kids are very susceptible to advertising, not having the mental faculties to recognize and avoid it. You should not be allowing your kids to watch TV.

I haven't the faintest idea of how a child would be enticed by alcohol ads as they are not typically run during children's television programmes. Perhaps those children are watching television that is not suited for them, and they are not being monitored by their parents or primary care givers as they should be.
