Social Science - 18 August 2007

Personally, I would have loved to have a man support me, while I raise the children, cook for him and, attend to his every need. Now I feel like I don't even have the option, because of women's lib. I don't look foward to the day when I have children, but have to hire a daycare provider to raise them, and work full time, and also take care of the house when I come home, because men aren't willing to support their wives anymore. It seems like women have twice as much work as before, and men have been let off the hook. Does anyone else feel this way?

I now that in abortion you kill the child but that is the mothers choice. what if she was raped and she is in her teens and still wants to go to school but she is raped and doesnt want to raise this child. and what if a women who finds out that her baby might have a decise of some sort or is retarted and she doesnt want her child to go threw that in it's life. I know that they could put the child up for adoption but what if she doesnt want to do that i know that it would be better but it is her child and her body and her choice. do you believe in abortion or not i dont i feel that it is her choice and not someone elses.

hi.. i havent seen or heard from my ex boyfriend in 2 months...last night i went to some lounge by me with my friend and i saw my ex kissing some girl...im not going to lie, even though i moved on, it did bother me a bit...after he hooked up with her he was by the bar by himself so i went up to him and said hi and we started talking...after that i saw some guy who i knew and we started talking (thats all, i didnt hook up with him or anything)...i saw my ex staring at us that he even came up to me while i was talking to the other guy...after that i walked out with my friend and that guy and his friend and i kno my ex saw it bc he tried getting my attention..then he calls me and leaves a message on my voicemail saying "i want you" but ur with another guy".. i get a call from him the next day apologizing to me if he said anything bad the night before cause he was drunk. then he asked me how i been? and what ive been up to? i mean seriously what does he want from me??

When I searched places on Google Earth or any other aerial photos, I felt really uncomfortable and I had to move away from the computer while it was locating the place I wanted to find. I know it is weird but, I want to know why I fell this way.

I am thinking about begining a career in child psychology. What is child psycholgy really? I like to help people, and I love children. Does this mean that you can become a guidance counselar for school? What is the atmosphere of the job? What are the common ours to work? Does anyone have this as a career? It would be worth it to see a child or teen battling his/her problems. Any other information you can give me would be great. Thanks!!!!!!

Well i'm really confused. I've seen a couple of things myself and was convinced.. but after conversating with a couple of people. ..They made me question if its all in the mind. They told me that the things we see and perceive to be as ghosts are just figments of our imaginations. Dark rooms or just a feeling that something is there(a strong belief) can make us see things.. or push us to make things up in our minds that truly appear to be ghosts or spirits before our eyes. But if that is so why did i see things when i didn't expecet to and the last thought on my mind was running into a paranormal experience?

What made those countries rich? They do not have much of natural resources (not like the U.S. and Canada), yet they are the richest countries in the world. They usually rank in 1~5 top.

How did they become rich?

And how did they make their societies one of the most safest and stable in the world?

We have made Machines to help us do our Work. Recently, we have made the First Home Robots, and the First Prototype Androids.
I'm not going to go into the Physical Immitations of the Human Form that will Undoubtedly be Introduced.

this, someday, would be my dream. I hate depending on other people. It makes me look weak. that's the best way i can put it. I mean, i'm 20 yrs. old, i've got to start taking care of myself. I want to think less of what my friends want me to do and focus on what I want to do. what i want. not my friends. I still find myself "clinging" to my friends though and believing in what they believe instead of going with my own nature. how do i stop this s**t and just be independent? when i become a follower, I tend to feel like a piece of dirt, just going along for the ride. and the the most important thing is I'm not enjoying myself. i hate these feelings.

I have been anorexic for about three years and until now I was strictly the restricting type. However, recently I've started purging after meals (I KNOW it's bad for me, please don't lecture me) although I never binge. Would I be considered bulimic now? Or am I still anorexic with bulimic tendencies?? Help!!

I usually don't dream for months and months, but when I do, I think its important.

Okay, so we're at this amusement park with my whole grade but everyone is scattered in groups everywhere. No body but us is there, the amusement park is very crowded though (as in LOTS of tents and decorations) and is old. Tents are striped blue and white.
I need to use the bathroom, everyone points me to this big alley and when I turn a corner, theres this clean, neat, biology class.

Somehow I stay in that alley with a bunch of people I know, sitting on this diner-like table and chairs.
Apparently, we're skipping class.
So apparently this old "amusement park" place is where we
are taking classes?
And the clock rings and we're late for class.
When we do get out, this lady teacher is standin out watching.
She gets mad that I didn't go straight to the bathroom.
