Yes, I believe the slightest thing we do in our life will forever, have some effect on the world.
Even stopping on your way to say 'hello' to someone will have an effect thereafter on all the people you both meet.
I usually try to answer the question honestly, sometimes however the wording of the question inspires me to make a joke reply.
I am very selective of which questions I choose to answer, and do not answer if I feel unable to.

I love Yahoo Answers for many reasons. First of all, I get a lot of great answers from all kinds of people. Some of our fellow site users are brilliant and help me get information and think things through better than I could alone. Sometimes the people I don't agree with help a lot. There seem to be at least two sides to every story. Others are just hilarious. It's also nice if I can provide the same by sharing my thoughts. It certainly makes a difference in my world. It makes me think!

Answer: My answers are couched in relation to the question as in - seriousness - the ability to phrase it and spell it in a way that makes easy sense ( to me the reader who is likely to spend my time and my efforts in writing a reply ).
Yes, I can and do care about my answers ~ although, on the other hand, if there is a lightness (fun) in a question, then my reply is likely phrased in the same vain.
If it's a 'how long is a piece of string type' or a Kewnwood (Mix-it-up type 'stirring up trouble' type of) Question, then again I'll answer accordingly.
If any answer creates in the questioner a different perspective which generates a different response to something in his / her life (which is highly unlikely I / we are going to get to know of), then 'feeling' (which is what you asked about) I would imagine doesn't often come into it.
- Others may have a different answer to this based on their experiences - !
What I've been told has at times given me feedback which does have me feeling positive about what I write.
Sash.

They may not make a difference in the "world" but I like to think that my answers do make a difference to the asker. I have had people reply to me thru emails and quite a few "best answers" and Ive only been doing this a few weeks. I do give thought to what I say and my over riding concern is to help people. Some times its just for fun and I give a funny answer, sometimes its silly trivia and sometimes its serious. I love answering, I get a kick out of it and its a great way to get your mind ticking over

Hello Wonky fella,
I for one care.
Otherwise I would not be doing it.
The answers I give to people, are felt into, thought about, and written I trust in a way, which will give something more to a situation.
What one does with this information is of course freewill.
I also know, that the answers can be read by others in similar situations,
not that I think people should apply someone else's "possibly solution" to their own situation,
but it gives a rounding out,
a different view.
A very good question. Thanks.
I have not wondered the same thing,
I have always felt that it did.
When one puts in their best,
one receives the best in return.
And in my case, I am blessed each day,
that is how I know.
Blessings to you and your world.

Do I feel that my answers make a difference to the world?
Well, maybe not to the world, however, I answer questions hoping that my answer will help SOMEONE. I ask questions when I need an answer, and am truly grateful when I get a serious, and helpful answer. Thus I try to do the same for others. I think about what I am going to say, and try to word my answer to be both helpful and sensitive to the need of the person asking.

I really care when I give an answer. I really care when I ask a question. I would think that my answers have made a difference because I have received answers to some of my questions that has really opened my eyes to some different ways of thinking. And some days, it just really passes the time....

The first thing that comes to my mind and yes I believe that the answers here make a difference because when I've asked questions in the past, the replies I had received did make a difference, at least to me...

I really care when I give an answer.
I try to feel what the questioner is really "getting at" rather than go by their words alone, and I rarely give a flippant answer unless the question is so obviously geared for sarcasm (a joke) that I feel I will let the questioner down by being overly sincere.
Do I make a difference in the world (at large) by giving sincere answers?
Who knows....?
Do I make a difference in MY world (experience) by being honest?
Oh, yeah.
It makes me think further and dig a little deeper to decide what I really believe, when I answer questions here.
So maybe your question shoulda been,
"Do you feel that your questions on here make a difference in the world?"
Peace!

a difference in the world might be a bit much - perhaps one or two individuals. If I believe the asker to be sincere or the question worthy, I'll devote the time to carefully carving an answer that's easily understandable. Sometimes, however, I'll put down the first response that comes off my keyboard - those would be the ones that are funny, sarcastic, or answering with a question.
