I am a widow and lost and lonely and angry, for losing my husband. It is good to be married and have someone who really knows you and loves you unconditionally and honest and trusting and you feel like they are part of you, no secrets.
They understand how you feel and you don't even have to say so.

Presently, I am single. Married twice and divorced twice. In some ways I would like to be married - I believe in "keeping the home fires burning" and all the other reasons that we 'should' be married, but I am not sure that I am 'who' I need to be in the relationship because I have become so accustomed to handling things my own way. Deferrance to a man right now would probably mess me up for life.

I'm married for the 3rd time and very happy this time!!
Why? I guess because I met a man that I fell in love with that felt the same way about me. It's been over 7 years now that we've been seeing each other, 2+ years of which we've been married and we're still very much in love and best of friends. I think that's what's made our relationship the best is that we were friends first, then we started going out and fell in love secondly.

I am single because I am not yet ready to get married. I still want to explore the world and widen my perspective on life. There are things that I want to achieve first before getting married.

I've lived with the same man for 12 years. I'm single because I feel no need to be blessed by a church and it's not the governments business who I live with.

I'm 29 and single. My last relationship ended in January of this year, and was a two year relationship. It was serious, and I am still recovering and am not ready to be involved again. Plus I don't know how to trust anyone again.

I'm married and have been for 18 years, I have two teenage children. Being married is the best thing in the world. Somehwere to share your joys and sorrows with. Someone to keep you company and someone to talk to.
