I seriously do not think so. I recently went vacationing in the Philippines. I decided it would be cool to get a put put liscence. A suviner to show my friends. Well I went down to the put put office to see about getting a lisence. They told me they did not want to give me a liscence to drive a bike with a cab on it because I'm a female. So if you think that feminisim has taken control you need to take a good look at some of the things that's going on.

No, not at all. feminisim is doing what it has done from the start, acting for women's rights. This is neither a necessarily bad or good thing. The idea has not "taken over" our institutions. The fact that the first really credible woman presidential candidate is running well does not signal a feminist revolution, nor does the slight rise in female members of various governmental bodies. It does scare the "good pld boys club" a bit, but they could use a bit of a rousing.

Yup. It's called "creeping democracy". Before you know it, those uppity Blacks will think THEY have equal rights, too. Wait. Where's my head today? They already fought for and won their rights to pursue happiness in a democracy. You better watch out. Any minute even children and teenage boys will start to think that THEY have rights, the ingrates. What IS this world coming to? : ) LOL.

Yes, of course all of the school administrators, government officials, judges, juries, political leaders, business executives and CEO's, are all feminists and are making all of the decisions for the rest of society both locally and nationally.

Bush and Cheney are running the country on a feminist agenda, along with Walmart and their right-wing owners, the House and Senate vote for all feminist related legislation, and the majority of the Supreme Court is on board with the feminist agenda as well. It's quite obvious they are all pro-choice, non-sexist, non-homophobic, for equal pay, for reproductive rights, for Title IX, and pro-family leave.

There is no right-wing, anti-feminists, or woman-haters or traditionalists, since the whole country is for equal rights.

Once you find this country, let me know where it is.

Taken over? No. Effected? Yes. In both positive and negative ways.

Um, no. Do you know what percent of the U.S. legislature is even *female* (not necessarily feminist)? ABOUT 17 PERCENT.

"How many women are currently serving in Congress? There are currently 74 women serving in the U.S. House of Representatives and 16 in the U.S. Senate" (http://clerk.house.gov/member_info/memberfaq.html ). So let's add that up: 74 out of 435, 16 out of 100.

Women make up at least, if not more than, 50 percent of the population.

I find this all a bit troublesome, don't you?

Could you be a bit more specific?
I wasn't aware of feminists taking over anything.

Why doesn't it surprise me that the guy with the ignorant response above is named "gun fanatic".

What do you mean has the feminist movement "taken over" institutions? If you're version of "taken over" is that women now make up a less than half of the workforce then yes. However, the feminist movement is about EQUALITY, and the definition of equality directly contradicts what "taking over" means.

Yes.. And keep on wanting more...

Feminism need to be ban. Women already have rights nowadays(too much rights for their own good anway), so there shouldn't be any reason for feminism to continue to exist.

Anyone who say that feminism is about equality is full of BS. Feminism is about advancement for women, it's only benefit female. Feminism is the main reason why sexism still exist nowdays. It need to be ban.

And to the woman that call me ignorrant. Maybe she should learn how to read and do some research.
