Social Science - 2 August 2007

I'm so attracted to this guy and he likes me too. Up until now we've been friends..we knew each other a little before he moved to another state. Since then have kept in contact by chat..once a mth or so. Now I have to visit his city for work and he'd love to meet up. Problem is I'm already so into him and can't stop obsessing. He wrote that he's going to fall in love with me. Also said hurry up and come visit. Thing is I don't know him that well..but I do know he's attracted to me & seems like a decent guy. I'm just worried as we don't chat very often. Now its a few wks since we've chatted..usually he contacts me. It's making me insecure & worried but I do know he's really busy now and the last contact (by him) he checked again when I was leaving! Something else, before he moved, he even invited me on a trip with him and also asked me to visit him but I never had the chance until now.

first of all it has to do with my ex girlfriend. she is 11 states away and we broke up before she left and i haven't talked to her for about 2 months. i want to get back with her but since i can't talk to her i wrote her a couple letters saying that i wanted to get back with her. anywayz here is how the dream goes,I was at her house talking to her mom and i seen her sitting on a recliner.I walked up to her to talk and she seemed mad at me and was being rude.Then i asked her if we were together and she said no and something else but i can't remember.It wasn't good.Then i was outside of her house and she had left somewhere.I called her and she said she didn't want to be with me.Then i knew i was dreaming so i tried to have a lucid dream and change where i was at but nothing happened so i got scared because i thought it was real. then i woke up with a strong pain in my stomache that i get when i get jealous or i think about her with another guy.does anyone know what this could mean?

Like mosr people if I hit my thumb with a hammer I will swear to a greater or lesser degree.

Two nights ago a fell off my bicycle and the pain in my side and chest was worse than appendicitus, tooache and possibly childbirth combined. Paasers by weere most helpful and thankfully apart from a sore ribcage no harm was done.

Looking back I was suprised that I did not swear. Anyone have any ideas why not?

some one I know, lies right one after another. and I know that she is lieing and she cant stop, evidently. The lies are getting out of control. I tell her thats a lie, and she denies it. it is terrible. makes me crazy. sometimes the lie is hurtful but mostly just aggravating, I am scared she is going to get me or some one else in trouble doing it. what can I do? Do I just have to stay away from her?

i had a baby and then it goes straight into me driving and hes in between the 2 front seats in a minno bucket i dont know why then i pull him out change is diaper etc... show him to people and hes was born with teeth but his to 2 front teeth where rotten then i come home and i totaly leave him in the van then like an hour later i go back to the van change his diaper and hes just smiliong at me in the dream i love him then later in the dream people are making me a baby shower because i didnt know i was preg until i had him and later i ran over a dog but it didnt kill it then 2 girls got kidnapped then i woke up it was a funky all over the place dream

I once worked in a factory. This was the most boring work I ever did (trust me on this). Then I found out that people worked there for 20+ years. Even the ones that were intelligent enough to find something else. Why the hell do they do that for such a long time?

If you look at most reality t.v programmes lately, its a competition that requires the contestants to use manipulation.
I just saw a show advertised where gay and straight men are competeing for the affection of a woman to win a prize. She knows that some of the men are gay but not which ones. I know these people agree to be on the show but what does this say about us. These shows portray deception in an entertaining way. Are our children and us for that matter learning that deception is an acceptable trait to have and employ as a strategy in interhuman relationships.
( This question is about deception and manipulation not sexual orientation)

ok i havent seen or heard from my ex boyfriend in 2 months...last night i went to some lounge by me with my friend and i saw my ex kissing some girl...im not going to lie, even though i moved on, it did bother me a bit...after he hooked up with her he was by the bar by himself so i went up to him and said hi and we started talking...after that i saw some guy who i knew and we started dancing and flirting with each other...i saw my ex staring at us that he even came up to me while i was talking to the other guy...after that i walked out with my friend and that guy and his friend and i kno my ex saw it bc he tried getting my attention by grabbing my waste...then he calls me and leaves a message on my voicemail saying "i want you" but ur with another guy" i mean seriously, whats his problem??? its ok for him to hook up with other girls but not ok for me to flirt or dance with other guys? i mean what was that all about?? what do u guys think?

I have several recurring themes and images in my dream and it really bugs me. I figure if they keep coming back they must mean something or contain some sort of message and I'd like to know what really :)

1) Fish. I have a phobia of fish in real life although whether this came before or as a result of the dreams I don't know. I can't think of any logical reason why I'm scared of fish, or recall any traumatic events linked to fish in my childhood. In my dreams I usually dream about pet fish and they are usually multiplying rapidly or growing very big.

2) Dirty toilets!! Often I dream of looking for a toilet but finding they are all dirty, broken or overflowing. Or I start to use one and then find there are lots of people who can see me.

3) Trains. I went through a stage of dreaming about getting on the wrong train a lot but now its more to do with stations and getting to the right platform on time.

Can anyone shed any light on what these dreams might mean?

My biggest fear is dying of a heart attack...for some reason that terrifies me..I eat really healthy, work out..I can honestly say if I had to choose..I would rather drown than suffer a stroke or a heart attack.
