If you were going to died today, what are the two things that you would like to teach the young generation, so that they won't walk the same path as you, and will not regret on the day they died. Your truism answer will benefit everybody. ^_^

Realize that not everyone starts out with an equal hand. But whatever hand you're dealt, it's up to you to make the most of it. Your life will be shaped by your own decisions, large and small. That includes decisions not to do certain things--such as exercise, etc.

And use sunscreen!

I had to think about this because I was sent to Iraq a few years ago. Not knowing if I was going to go home or not caused me to write a letter to my children that would have been delivered had I died.

Thankfuly and obviously, I didn't die there. I kept the letter because it contained important things like your question asked.

A few of the last things I would want them to know from me is that (1) what you give will return to you. All thoughts, feelings, words and actions will have a reaction. Make sure you treat everyone the way you want to be treated. Sounds cheesy, but it is how I have tried to live and I find it to be rule # 1 on my "What you need to know before I kick you out of the house" rule list.

(2) You manifest your own reality. Think bad, create bad. Think good, create good. Don't make your own hell here on earth. Positive thinking goes a long, long way and it not only affects you, but those around you, too.

Two things: (A) Find your purpose and stick to it -- look for and ask for all the help and support you can find to develop your best talents, skills and things you love to do and care about the most; (B) Also identify your worst areas, fears and weaknesses, your most problematic relations or issues, and address those as challenges to strengthen yourself. On this point, I went into more detail below, since it is more difficult:

1. I would advise to work with the person, group, or issue you hate, fear or disagree with the most, because half the answers to solving the world's problems are hidden there.

2. To start by working with your current relations, with yourself, your parents and family, your coworkers or people around you; and resolve any conflicts or differences you find. The same skills you will need to foresee, identify and resolve problems and communicate with others in the world, you will develop by making peace and harmony with your personal relations around you, especially the most difficult or painful.

3. If you make all your judgments or decisions in a state of mutual, civilized respect with others -- whether or not you agree -- without fear or hostility or combative emotions or thoughts, you are less likely to make the same mistakes of the past, and more likely to uncover the wisdom and support needed to overcome past problems, limitations, and separations and establish a better world by maximizing resources.

So whatever you feel that you cannot do or deal with, that you cannot understand, whatever you fear or care about the most, if you confront and work with that you will find the answers and guidance you need, though it may come from the people or groups you least expected or wanted to work with.

im still the young generation seeing that im only 15 so there arent much i can teach yet, but here are wat i can teach.

Dont try 2 grow up too fast. Its much betta 2 stay as simple in the young life. Im not saying to not be responsible or 2 act like a baby. but dont rush things. it'll only make things harder.

the second thing is... dont be afraid of what ppl think of you. youll live a suppressed & lonely. It hurts more to be afraid than it is 2 be laughed at for who you truly are. i wish i knew that when i was younger. The older you get feeling afraid of what ppl think, the harder it is 2 change yourself from not think that way. at least thats the way it is for me & im still trying.

Start conserving energy at a young age, ie. shutting off lights, walking to do an errand- if possible, recycling, etc.
You get the picture.
This will hit you when you become middle aged and it will be a lot too late.

Learn how to SPELL and learn correct grammar--the old-fashioned way.
This is very important and a no brainer !! :)))

Get off the computer and read a good book.
