This world needs rebels, but rebels have to channel their rebellion into something useful. I think you have not, so you have to decide what you want to change and go for the possible/ Are you just being awkward because you have a slight chip on your shoulder? I think the answer about mentally moving ten feet away is a good one

The world desperately needs change, and needs people with your energy and drive.

When any individual is developing a sense of identity and will, it is natural to "rebel" against the given parental or governing institutions in place, to question the authority, expectations or traditions one is given, in comparison to your own free will, divine purpose and individual desire. How else can you know where your personal boundaries and conditions agree or disagree, without butting heads against walls of opposition or limitations that appear in your way. How else can you map out your way in life, where there are walls that are impassable, where to turn or go around them, and where to look for doors or windows or create your own?

I suggest you find a good cause that you believe in that requires and deserves someone like you to push for change and achievement of higher goals or standards than what is currently offered or practiced. It takes the fearlessness of a rebel to try new things that go against the current grain. You have an incredible gift, and I hope you learn how to best harness it and use it for maximum benefit and success.

If you have that drive and purpose in you, there is no reason to let it go to waste in frustration when it can be used for good to make a lasting difference in the world.

Please email me if you want to brainstorm on some possible projects or ideas to pursue. There are some wonderful courageous organizations in the world pushing for change in innovative ways, and you sound like that type of person.

45 years old and STILL want to rebel. And i will if i have to. Don't know where it comes from. Too many people pis. me off too many times and i WILL rebel. All depends on the circumstances. Usually its a 'don't try and stop me' attitude. Do people like us ever grow up? And the question is... do we live longer with this attitude?

This all depends on your upbringing, current living situation and who you're surrounding yourself with. If you have yet to learn how to be your own adult, then look at what kind of changes you can make that will help you. For me, I've lived on my own for the last 7 years and about half that time, no roommates. This has been very good for me and has greatly helped me to grow. Maybe that's what you need too.

Clearly, you haven't got it out of your system yet.

Where is it written that these things have a start and end point that have to be adhered to?

Alternatively;y to what I've written so far, STOP IT. Stop messing about and bloody well Grow Up.

Ok?

I don't know. Do you like yourself? What would you change about yourself? Do you see yourself as others see you?

Try this experiment... Whenever you speak to others, or walk around.. Think that you are about 10 feet away from you. You are now this person who is observing YOU.

When you speak, act as if you are someone standing about 10 feet away, and looking and listening to what you are saying and how you are saying it.

Try it. You'll discover what you like and don't like about yourself.

Rebellion comes from disatisfaction within - Only YOU can change You - If you want to.

Reinvent yourself so others will love you.

It may be that u r more argumentative than rebellious. It is related to age. Advice: sometimes is good to listen and learn as well rather than trying to do thigs only your way.(speaking gennerally - not saying that u do that). ;-))
