My biggest fear is dying of a heart attack...for some reason that terrifies me..I eat really healthy, work out..I can honestly say if I had to choose..I would rather drown than suffer a stroke or a heart attack.

What's your biggest fear? Being alone? Spiders? Sharks? Share.

(1) Longterm situation
I am most uncomfortable or afraid of the idea of
making a commitment and failing to keep it; of someone depending on me for something and I let that person down when someone else could have helped instead. I hate that.

I think it is a combination of fear of failure and also fear of success, that the expectations attached to both create fear that I will cause an imposition because I did not communicate or do the part that people relied on me to do.

(2) Shortterm situation
Physically, I am still scared of the dark or being alone where I feel spiritually there are things around me I can't control. I had a couple of experiences with strong negative spirits entering or attacking my space, and it was so frightening I was traumatized. I know the basics of how to deal with that, but am aware that some forces are beyond what an individual can counteract, so that is what I am afraid of. I know group prayers offer greater protection, but getting targeted alone is terrifying and I don't wish to repeat that.

(3) Notes: In general
I think you will find people's fears fall under 3 major themes:
(1) Fear of the unknown
(2) Fear of change, loss of control
(3) Fear of conflict, confrontation
especially having to communicate or deal with adversity

If you have faith you can know in advance what to expect and will have help or guidance to deal with it, you will generally be less afraid regardless of what happens. People who fear certain problems cannot be foreseen, resolved or prevented generally have more emotional blocks or mental barriers that unfortunately interfere with their ability to work with adverse or unknown situations, thus causing a vicious cycle.
