You need to tell some one why you're depressed. It helps alot. Find ways to cheer yourself up, if you feel like crying, cry. You'll feel better letting it out. If you're depressed because of someone, punch your pillow or something and pretend it's that person. Don't keep it bottle up!!

Run around in circles and then yell of the top of your lungs ... it works ... or put a funny movie on ...

Don't resort to drinking or drugs... you'll be more depressed. Do something you enjoy.
