When I was little, I was mean to other kids, especially those that seemed weak. I was even mean to my cat. I know that is so bad but I had to say it. I love animals and feel horrible about this now...My mom tried to make me nice but I think I was just evil inside. Now I am grown up but I still find it hard to be nice to people that seem weak to me. I just want to crush them and tell them to stand up for themselves!!

I was also abused by my father and brother - physically. I know this probably has something to do with it but I guess I just don't know if I will ever get over being so mean.

Any advice?

When I was a kid, I thought "Charlie Hustle," was incredible. Then of course he had a gambling problem and lied to cover it up and ended up in prison. I don't know how to feel about him anymore, he has finally admitted everything...but it doesn't erase what he did. Have you forgiven him?? What are your thoughts?

He talks about religion all the time. And goes on and on .... even when I was married to him. He was extremely abusive. He literally was a Jeykel and Hyde personality. He lied about his age, how many times he was married, what he did for a living.... he smokes, drinks, does drugs and carries on a double life. People believe him. Anyone ever go through this?

Do you just one day starting thinking that "Hey! I should cut myself because I'm sad." Or do you hear about it first so that the idea has been planted into your head and then you decide to try it?

Im only 20 but I already fear the thought of old age. It just looks so depressing to not look the way you used to, and to move and think slower then you used to. And then the body just seems so fragile. Im really not looking forward to that, maybe I feel this way because im seeing it from an outside perspective, but growing old really looks like it sucks.

In your culture, who is more highly valued- a beautiful woman, a brilliant woman, or a wealthy/successful woman?

Which would you rather be (if you are a woman), or rather have on your arm (if you are a man)?

I started to read a book by Dr. Hendrix "Getting the love you want". Interesting reading as it explains why we choose the people we do. I find it scary, though, because it is true. I definetely feel that my husband does stir up the worst pain from my childhood. Being romantic by nature I find it hard to accept that love is just that - healing your wounds. Then what? What if my partner does not want to understand any of what is going on? What do you think?

Is this true? There isn't a row 13 on some aeroplanes.
And is it true that in the US some high-rise buildings label the floor that follows 12 as 14 and that in France there isn't a house with the number 13? What about friday the 13th? Where did this fear of a number come from?

Through the years I have always been sarcastic. I must admit, when I was younger sometimes I was pretty damn funny with my sarcastic comments. However, do to my progression over the years, I have become more caring and mature, and I have lost almost all my sarcastic-ness. I no longer make people laugh (not that I was a comedian before, but I did get a random laugh).....I want to be funny, should I work on my sarcastic ways, or find a new way to be funny? (I dont want to memorize jokes or anything)

Sports, American Idol, Cartoons. What type of knowledge do you get out of watching these type of shows? I understand the entertainment value, but how about the large majority who watch this type of crap all the time. Isn't knowledge the true wealth in life? It seems to me, if anything, television has transformed most of our American society into mind numbing couch potatoes. What do you think?

I loved her kind heart,her words,her huggs,her kisses.
I can remember before she died few days.
we almost knew she was dying, she was weak and refused to eat.
I went to her just few days before her death and brought some buiscits and made her eat from my hands.and she ate after they were trying to make her eat.
while she was laying on the bed,I was looking at her face and she was looking at me but I didn't know if she was really conscious or just looking like that.
and suddenly she smilled peacfully at me.I don't know why but I just copied this smile in my head and said that this will be the last time I see her face.and she died few days after.
till now I can never forget this image at all.
once I remember her,all I remember is this smilling face of fan angel.
anytime I remember the scene I cry.and actually I'm crying now.....
just wanted to talk and express some of my feelings.
anyone had similar story???

Just so you know, we DO have ways to test without using animals, yet we continue to do so.

I disagree with it personally.

I moved schools a few months ago back in Feb. My previous high school held many more students than my current one. I've noticed that when I look at someone or someone looks at me I tend to twitch or shake my head, blink, or look down at the floor. I go through periods of this too. Sometimes I'll be fine and at other times, this will occur. It's really embarrassing. I haven't brought it up with my parents yet, but I do plan to. I don't know if it could also be my self esteem? I've changed completely as far as social life. I hardly talk to anyone in the new school where as I use to get in trouble for talking too much. Also, I started taking antibiotics and birth control for acne. Is it possible this may be doing something to me mentally as strange as that sounds? Anyone know what this may be? Answers are greatly appreciated.
