barring brain trauma or a mental breakdown I would agree.. but we all go threw periods of inspiration and lack there of.. you just need to relax a little.. maybe start working out.. the more you stress about it.. the more your brain will shut down.. also make sure you are eating healthy.. without good fuel for the brain you can't get good results.

No. Some people are inherently really quick learners and understand complicated things very fast and i suppose are "always a genius" because they could easily catch up to any level of knowledge almost immediately, whereas others, like some morons in my class, work insanely hard to maintain their grades and their achievements. None of this really answers your question, but anyway what kindof genius do you mean? The genius that comes with inherent ability? In that case- it depends on how flawed your self-perception or pride is. If you mean the genius that comes with talent that's honed with hardwork - theres no real answer to your question besides what you would WANT to hear which is that yeah yeah yeah practice makes perfect.

I think for some people it may apply, it didn't work for me though because i changed after a while. And i lost the little genius that i had. I've never been able to bring it back. But who knows? Maybe now you can have other skills.

A person can become a genius by accident. there have been cases of people having strokes and epilectic seizures etc and when they recover, they find themselves with an ability they didn't have before. However, the style you think will probably stay with you throughout life. Brain cells die all the time but the electro chemical activity in the brain maintains in a similar structure.

Here is my two pence worth:
The intellect and genius capability is like a muscle. Even if you are born with the best muscles in the world, if you don't use them and challenge your abilities, they will soon atrophy and be unable to achieve their potential. Same with the intellect and your genius capabilities. If you don't constantly keep your intellect stimulated and challenged, no matter what a person's genius potential may be, they can lose the capability to demonstrate it. Use it or lose it as they say!

I think your intellectual and other thinking capacities remain in the same area your whole life, but people don't use their minds to the same capacity every day.
I say this because I've heard of kids who lived with one parent for years and failed school, then when they move in with their other parent, they start getting the best grades in the whole class.
Really, it's mainly about how you use what you have, and how much you apply yourself.

When I was so little
I had this crazy dream
My brain was so enormous
What then did it mean?
Now that I am older
This thought has sort of stuck
Its nowt to do with thinking
and all to do with LUCK...
Well thats what I think anyway.
