This is absolutely HORRIBLE:

Hialeah, FL – An 18-year old woman reported to A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center on July 19, 2006, began a second-trimester abortion. ...The woman apparently delivered a live baby girl, who gasped for air for five minutes while clinic workers shrieked.

Clinic owner Belkis Gonzalez was said to have cut the baby’s umbilical cord and placed the baby and placenta into a red biohazard bag, then threw her onto the roof of the clinic where she stayed for eight days.

Read the whole story:

Now, tell me. What should be done? The baby was ALIVE. They killed a living, breathing child. This is MURDER. Come on. It makes me sick.

It isn't a magic trick or anything, because I've had him pick up MY books and do it, or books at the bookstore- he ALWAYS does it right. Basically, he can pick up a book and turn it to any page you tell him to. Just flip right to it. If I say "Turn to page 145" He will open the book right up to it. He is almost never wrong, and when he is by like one page. He does it with books at the bookstore, with my books, his books. He isn't a savant, though he is highly intelligent. What does this mean, what does he have?

Naturally, at this time of year, as the christmas movies approach, I live in fear that ET may suddenly stalk my screen. Its a weird problem I know, and I am deadly serious.. If i see a picture of the friendly alien, I will jump, scream or make a shocked noise, followed by crying but also laughing because I realise this is rediculous. But the odd bit is, once ive seen the picture I am perfectly fine, and can look at it as many times as I want after ive known its there as I have prepared myself and will expect to see ET, it is literally the shock of seeing ET that causes those stupid reactions. I can quite happily type in ET into a search engine and look at pictures, as long as I am prepared for it!
I was scared as a child, and I have never grown out of the fear.

Can anyone explain my weirdness?
Is it a 'phobia', as I am not actually scared of ET, its just the weird jumping and screaming and crying that makes me wonder!
Has anyone else got a similar fear?
Thanks!! seriously..!

If I could point a magic gun at people I don't wish to deal with and turn them into persons whom i could never see or hear, so that although they would remain alive, and even might be present with me in the same place, yet to me it would be as if they never exist or have exited ever. They would turn into non persons, they would turn into ______________________

Aside from employment opportunities, what are the other benefits that a developing country, like many in Latin America, mught get by joining one of these agreements? Oftentimes the availability to get IMF and World Bank funds is tied to free trade agreement memebership, but is this enough of an incentive to join these agreements? It seems like a tough trade - the developing nations watch domestic industries destroyed by US dumping and many other harmful effects. And for what?

English is my second language. I have a great deal of education in language and linguistics. The problem is when I get to talk orally to people I get very shy and confused that I mispronounce some words and mess words up and struggle to make a sentence especially in long conversations like talking to a hairdresser. I have no difficulties in pronounciation and usually I correct poeple speech inside myself. I don't know how can I get over this shyness and confusion I really wanna talk clearly and in correct tone and stress. Is this something to do with my personality ?? Can I do something about it? Please give me serious ideas. I feel ashame that I lose the courage to talk in English as best as my knowledge in it. My English grammar is very good though, but when I speak I slow don. I hate myself when I speak...... help!

I have just moved to Australia. I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology. I want to work as a Psychologist. I am in the process of choosing between undertaking a PhD (three years as a full paying International Student - $90,000 for 3 years) or choosing to undertake Chartership to become a Psychologist in Australia (two years - $15,000 for 2 years).

I wonder whether having a PhD would offer me more job prospects compared to having Chartership status as a Psychologist? I am very confused, and as I don't have any practical experience as a Psychologist (i.e. working as a Psychologist), I wonder if it would be more beneficial to gain this experience. Would being a Chartered Psychologist offer me better job prospects in Australia? and across the World?

Any help would be appreciated. Only serious answers please.

Lately, I've been feeling a little like I'm in the Matix. It's a feeling that is very hard to describe... I wonder about where I am, am I really there, who really are these people, etc.
I feel like a stranger in my own world, like I'm not sure if these things really exist.
It's sort of scary and i wish I could stop feeling this way.
Is this some kind of disorder? What should I do? Am I the only one?
