This is absolutely HORRIBLE:

Hialeah, FL – An 18-year old woman reported to A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center on July 19, 2006, began a second-trimester abortion. ...The woman apparently delivered a live baby girl, who gasped for air for five minutes while clinic workers shrieked.

Clinic owner Belkis Gonzalez was said to have cut the baby’s umbilical cord and placed the baby and placenta into a red biohazard bag, then threw her onto the roof of the clinic where she stayed for eight days.

Now, tell me. What should be done? The baby was ALIVE. They killed a living, breathing child. This is MURDER. Come on. It makes me sick.

I feel what happened is murder. I believe that there were several people at that clinic that believed the same thing. First, the shrieking that was going on in the room by the staff. If this was just an abortion, something that took place hundreds of times a week in that clinic, why was there pandemonium? I believe that it would be safe to assume that their behavior was not normal for an abortion, abortions that they receive a paycheck for aiding in. Secondly, Belkis Gonzalez, who by the way is NOT a licensed medical practioner but the co-owner of this clinic as well as two others in Florida, delivered a live baby. She not only delivered this child but cut the umbilical cord and then delivered the placenta and placed both of them in a biohazard bag. She violated law by not calling an ambulance for the woman that delivered a live baby. She was compelled to seek competent medical care for the woman when something had gone wrong with the procedure as it so clearly did. Thirdly, someone left the clinic and called authorities anonymously from a payphone. If that person did not think that they were a party to a CRIME, they would have had no problem calling from the clinic or give their name. Fourthly, the baby was thrown onto the top of the strip mall that it was born at. If this was a legal abortion, if this was not a viable fetus, then there would have been no problem with disposing of it as medical waste, just as they dispose of all of the other aborted fetuses that they deliver in the clinic. Whoever disposed of this child in this manner knew that what had occurred was a crime. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, then it is a DUCK.

None of the actions in that clinic that day were of innocent people. The prosecutors are afraid that they can not win a murder conviction because it was not a viable fetus. It ceased being a fetus when it proved that it could breathe on its own. No one knows and will never know how long that precious little girl fought to live; she was wrapped up in plastic and thrown on top of a roof in the hot Florida sun of July. Murder? Without a doubt. Will they be prosecuted? Probably not. We have a tendency to not protect those that need it the most. Women have a right to choose, that is correct. They have the right to use birth control or how about self control and leave their legs closed. I guarantee for every child aborted, no matter their medical problems, there would be at least three loving homes ready to take them. If you don't want the child, it is easy, don't do the deed that gets you with one. I wonder if the father of that murdered little girl or any one of her grandparents would have wanted her?

The question of, if abortion is wrong, has too sides to the same coin. Legally, the Supreme Court of Texas in all of its wisdom has decided that the statutes that had ruled this country since its birth were too vague and took away from physicians their right to practice medicine (simply put). The other side is moralistically is abortion murder? When does life start? Who has the right to determine if a procedure is medically necessary for the life of a pregnant woman?

As most state statutes stand today, a woman has the right to choose abortion if; her life is in jeopardy, her mental state is at jeopardy, the pregnancy can be proven that it was a product of rape, incest or if the person pregnant is under the age of 16 or if the fetus will have severe mental or physical deformities.

Few states take into consideration the rights of the father in these cases and ALL of these states only take into consideration the father's rights if said father is married to a person that is under the age of 18. If you are a man and your wife becomes pregnant and she is over the age of 18, tuff luck, you do not even have to be informed that your child is going to be eliminated. If you are not married to the girl that is pregnant neither she nor the doctor is under any rule to inform you of an impending abortion.

The father of the impending child has no rights, however when the child is born he has the responsibility to financially take care of that child until it is 18. What if the father did not want the child? Would we stand for a law that allowed him to make the person that was carrying the child to end the pregnancy? If the woman has the right to choose shouldn't the man? We would say no, he does not have the right to force her to end a pregnancy that she wants but we will force him to pay for the next 18 years. On the other hand, what if the father wants the child? What if the child in question is loved by him, he has no right to tell the woman that she will carry HIS child, deliver it, surrender it to him and pay him child support for the next 18 years. What makes her right to choose more than his?

Anyone that has been pregnant and given birth, or suffered a miscarriage knows when life begins. There will always be people that have no respect for the life they created. Some of them raise their children, some abort them and some give them up to loving homes. When adoption is available I don't feel that financial, economic, humiliation, losing ones figure or familiar disappointment should be just cause to end a life when adoption is an option.

We will try, convict and sentence someone that causes a woman to miscarry but not someone that goes into a clinic delivers a child and throws it away. And we wonder what is wrong with the world.

Read the book Gianna...Aborted and Lived to Tell About It. It's Gianna's biography, and she was aborted and came out crying. This is not the first time this has happened. Except this Gianna baby got proper treatment at a hospital and was put up for adoption, which is what her mother probably should have chosen to do in the first place.... First of all, aren't 2nd trimester abortions illegal??? And yes, these clinic workers who put a BABY on a ROOF should be put in jail. You could get imprisoned for doing that to a DOG, much less a PERSON. But then that gets into the question of what would happen to the mother...and if aborting a second trimester baby is illegal, she just got caught red-handed, so to speak, and should also be punished. What monsters could do that to a living, breathing person! I can almost understand that when a baby doesn't look like a baby and doesn't move, a mohter could have that done and not realize how bad it is...but a LIVE baby??? That's the sickest thing I ever heard. "Oh, it's right to have an abortion so the baby isn't mistreated and abused by a mother who doesn't love it and can't take care of it"...isn't MURDER abuse, too???? Sorry. That pissed me off.

If that is true I'm sure that would be an isolated case and does not represent the abortion process.I think the issue of abortion has been sensationalized by the t.v. news media during election campaigns to challenge politicians same as the gay marriage issue which get's viewers attention for ad sales.I think the would be parents and not feds need to decide on the issue.

but if the fetus couldn't think how could it be murder?
(I admit I don't remember when the fetus can begin to think and thus be a human/baby, and thats when abortions should stop)

this was a mistake. normally it doesn't happen. the doctor shouldn't have hid the fetus, this is a weird case. it couldn't ahve survived though, the lungs weren't developed.

Maybe you should hang out at your local abortion clinic and adopt all the aborted "babies" and you can be a heroine in your own mind.

This doesn't sound like a real story. Abortion clinics have many, many regulations that they have to follow. Maybe it happened in Mexico.

How is it any of your business? This is not something very common, so why are you comparing it to abortion in general?
