I remember watching a CSI episode where the CSI team assumed someone was lying because their eyes were looking torwards one direction. I forgot if it's the left or the right. They explained that one side of your brain handles memories and the other side can fabricate/fantasize about things (ie., LIE!) which is why people tend to look at one direction when they're either recalling something from the past or lying. I just don't know which side is which... =P

I just moved into my own place and everyone kept asking when the house warming party was going to be and what they should bring. I've never even heard of a house warming party until just recently and I'm not sure what the proper procedure or what is expected? I have a fairly small one bedroom with limited parking and tons of friends and family who wish to be invited. Any ideas? Advise? Recipes? Games?

Should I care? Or should I not care?

The thing is, I really feel awful because I could sense their spit on my computer as they were SHOUTING AT ME AND GETTING ANGRY! I was just calm and wondering how I could upset someone on Yahoo Answers. Is it possible? Or do people like swearing and slagging you off just because they don't realise it was a joke!

So should I care?

I don't understand why I can't let loose and be FUN. I feel that at times, there are sparks of my old self that come out because I used to be fun, but somewhere along the way, I just started taking life way too seriously. I think it is affecting my relationship with my girlfriend. I try to be funny and cheerful, but it just doesn't work sometimes. Is this a common problem? It seems like I never have anything to talk about either because my job consists of sitting behind a computer all day. I don't know that many people and really don't have any hobbies. I just want to be more interesting and intriguing so my girlfriend will want to be around me. We have a good relationship, but it just seems kind of "bleh" sometimes. Any advice?

Women are slaves to society?
I have seen that men don't give a cra.p how they look, and they pursue various intellectual endevours. Women are supposedly equal to men yet they act and their actions and manners are so slave like and meant merely to attract and for the pleasure of men. Like I understood that in High School the girls are of low I.Q and intellect and that's why they use their sexual allure, but in University I expected things to change, but seemingly they haven't.What are the reasons that led to such socia-relations between the two genders, do women still feel that they are not of equal status or are they just liking being servants to the will of man.

This is how it happened. A year ago i used to be very honest with people, brutaly honest sometimes. Then i met this girl and well i've never had to many female friends before, so after a while she would hang out more and more with the same circle of friends that i did and one night at this party she asked me how she looked in the jeans she was wearing, well she didn't look very good because she was a bit over weight from having a kid and her strech marks were hanging out of her pants, so i said "well your pants are way to tight for your weight and it makes your belly hang over your belt and everyone can see your strech marks" right then and there she started to cry and i had no clue at the time what i had done, after the party one of my friends came up to me and said that i couldn't talk to chicks like i talk to the guys because women just can't handle the truth, so thats how it started now i find it hard to stop lying.

this guy at my school who attends they same school as i, always stares at me and i feel its disrespectful; and i feel embarrassedl. he has done plenty of times ,everytime im by myself, he could even be in a group of girls and he does it and when he's by himself. he never says anything which perplexes me.i looked at him one time when he did and he continued to stare. but for some strange reason he speaks to me in public everytime i might happen to see him around. i dont understand, does he dislike me for some strange reason? I haven't been fighting with her- we are really close. Usually when I have a dream, it relates to things that are bothering me, or just something that I have seen or done in the day, but these don't make any sense. I know this sounds like a joke, but the dreams really bother me. And it's not the same dream every time- thre is a different 'story' behind each one.
