Do you really think china is going to be the next USA, as far is economic power goes. They've showed rappid growth over the pas few decades. They're going to reduce their reserve of our precious Dollar due to less demand. If u have a yes or no answer dont even bother anwering it. I dont want you to tell me "yes" cus u've heard someone else say it.

Why doesnt the femmenist movement take constructive cristism well?

Before we anilate my character which is coming .i will state for the record i am a democrat , straight but not narrow , if gays and lesbians want to get married i have no problem with that , i am prochoice .

We got that out of the way .I dont deny there are flamebaiting trolls in these forums .I also believe that there are many men who have valid critisism of some aspects and some personalties associated with the womens movement.

What i percieve is demagogory on the scale of the national rifle associtaion .Infact i dont lnow which is more demagogic the N.R.A. or N.O.W. .Either organzition can do no wrong . All who disagree with some aspects of each organzitions are considered enemys . The next time a male friend reasonablly brings constructive critism listen not only with your ears but your heart as well.

Ive tried asking people, my therapist, my friends and family but i dont understand. The only times ive really felt angry, I justify my anger with "a bad day" and get upset at myself for being angry. Ive never yelled at one, hit anyone or done anything without apologizing or feeling really guilty. Its not a horrible trait but it bugs me to know that i dont get angry. When I should be angry, I usually just get sad or think its my fault!
Sometimes i get taken advantage of and i know rationally i deserve to be angry at people who do that to me, but i cant bring myself to be that way. Id go out of my way to someones grunt work if it means me being liked. everyone knows i am a doormat. please help me

Are we doomed to mediocrity? There are significant limits to the number of things that we can see and accomplish in this life and the quality of which we see and do them, no matter how hard we try.

The only solution to this problem that I can think of (without assuming an afterlife) would be a unified consciousness or an "overmind" for our species. Any ideas on how to go about this or any better ideas (note: silly is also acceptable).

So if being insane is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome right? Well then wouldnt normal life be insanity then. We all get up and go to work on a day to day basis. All of us expect a different outcome. Nothing, for 99.9% of us,ever changes. We go out on the weekend, most of us to the same places, and it never changes. We all do the same things over and over and over expecting a different outcome. Damn near willing something to change and yet it never changes. Always the same. BASICALLY WHAT I"M SAYING IS WERE ALL FLIPPIN INSANE!!!
I had a bad day Sorry LOL.

If captialism increases the gap between the rich and the poor, how does this explain the unsurpassed economic growth in China as their economy embraces the pricipals of captialism? What is the explanation of the rising of people from poverty to a new middle class in China? How do you explain the growing upper class there, when just a few years ago the majority population were considered in poverty? Isn't China better off now, as more people want to buy cars, and more people are not wondering where the next meal is going to come from? How does this long-over due death of a myth explain away the contrast of life between North and South Korea? Isn't poverty in this day and age really about suppresion of people, denial of ownership from people, and dictorial control of localized government? Western governments and private orgs have been sending funds to poor nations for quite a number of years, yet things never get better. Isn't it time that we confront the real road blocks out of poverty?
