So if being insane is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome right? Well then wouldnt normal life be insanity then. We all get up and go to work on a day to day basis. All of us expect a different outcome. Nothing, for 99.9% of us,ever changes. We go out on the weekend, most of us to the same places, and it never changes. We all do the same things over and over and over expecting a different outcome. Damn near willing something to change and yet it never changes. Always the same. BASICALLY WHAT I"M SAYING IS WERE ALL FLIPPIN INSANE!!!
I had a bad day Sorry LOL.

What you're saying is true, unfortunately.

To get more deep.. a child is the truly sane being out there, because it tries to understand everything it experiences, it's the God-like property that should normally be preserved until growth.. but that doesn't happen due to cultures', religions & educations' limitation.

Where as you noticed, the grown-ups try to understand how to stimulate the 5-senses as much as they can, not realizing the outcomes will actually be the same :)

stimulation => satisfaction => boredom => stimuation.. etc. and so on and so forth..

And when will that struggle end, where men and women return ot their natural state of childhood bliss? When they truly find what makes an eternal and internal state of happiness.

We are thoroughly insane animals. That is the norm for us. There is not much we can do about this without entering the Zen unconsciousness (or something similar) and acting according to individual environmental moments. We usually have two choices: insanity with love or insanity with hate.

An optimist would say insanity with love is the norm...

I think being insane is having unrealistic views, beliefs, ect that effect how your life is lead- IE destructive, non-productive, unsafe

insanity is also extremes of what we do now. the end of 'Girl interrupted' explained this.
we all lie, lying constantly is not healthy
we like to act young, unable to act your age is not healthy
we all get mad, striking out uncontrolablly is not healthy
we all feel like things are working against us at times, being paranoid to the point of conspirces is not healthy
ect

I disagree. Those of us who work don't expect a different outcome from our original reason, that is, feed, house and educate our children.
