It depends, could be both.

Benefits: increase in communication, technological advancements, global cooperation, increased flow of ideas. It's the way to spread modernity.

Negatives: blending of cultures, which results in a loss of identity for some people. Some globalization involves the use of force to push certain ideas, too. With the whole world becoming one culture, you lose uniqueness.

Just look at the word: globalization. We need to stop thinking as a country but as a world. In that way, it is beneficial to everyone. Finally, "No Man is an Island"... will become true... slowly and surely racists will die out because there will be one huge cultural identity...we won't be alive, but I'm glad this is happening.

It is generally good as the competition improves quality and bigger markets give better turnover and hence incentive to work harder. But cartels in Global markets are more powerful. They can harm the cause of weak nations.

both.if ur talking about the social aspect people get closer,but loose their identity&culture. economy wise, countries start importing goods rather than producing on their own.then we have outsourcing/offshoring. one part of the world gets those jobs while others are loosing them.

absolutely not since it's not in the nature of things. Do you see every type of bird located in one area, getting to know each other like they were one:NO! We have to be primitive and fix our own problems by ourselves.
