I mean, where everyone is tested for diseases and such?

To clarify about the false claims that should be prosecuted. There are some statistics that say that there have been about 250,000 calls a year for help in domestic violence issues but if just 1 in 20 are (or frivolous calls) thats about 12,500 calls from 1993-2003 wasting time and resources and ruining people reputations. Sometimes to be accused for domestic violence can leave you out of favor with your employer and getting dragged through court for weeks could leave you without a job along with the court costs. Should the *knowingly* false claimant be made liable to pay court costs and lawyers fees in addition to being responsible for lost wages and if unable to pay they should serve community service equivalent to the amount of money they owe. If he lost 7 months wages from the false accusation then the claimant should serve 7 months of community service along with a fine and court fees. Would that be fair?

TO KNOW!!! WHY DO THEY say, "i am just being realistic"...because they are NEGATIVE AND JUST SAY.."oh, i am not, i am being realistic...."..But everyone that knows this person has told him....because he picks on people and so forth....he is abusive...Now if it were me, I'D KNOW IF I WAS BEING ABUSIVE....QUESTION; DO PEOPLE THAT ARE ABUSIVE KNOW THEY ARE????...I would think they would have to....they hurt people's feelings!!!! THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO FOR YOURSELF IS GET AWAY FROM HIM!!! that is the best way to deal with him...is to get away!!!

It goes like this:

I woke up to a burning smell in my room. It was really hot, all of a sudden my bed had a little flame on it. Every where I went things caught on fire including my homework, the car, etc. And when I put out the flames they started up again, it would stop, but it was weird because it didn't ruin anything and nothing was charred. What does this mean?

caveat emptor : The axiom or principle in commerce that the buyer alone is responsible for assessing the quality of a purchase before buying.

In your answer , Please Don't just repeat some variation of the above definition unless that is the only answer you can give.

This question will probably, but not necessarily, go into voting so creativity counts

It is very likely that there will be fewer than a couple of dozen ansers to this question. That is not really enough to form any reliable statistical information .So if you would please add what catagory you would place the question in. That would help so that I can reask the question in one of those catagories.

There are so many people on here who offer advice on what to do about certain situations and problems that people face. However, what I would like to know is how many people actually abide to the advice they give and if there are times that you haven't, why not? Is the advice you offer now a result of a lesson learned or do you offer merely what would be the right thing to do but not necessarily what you have done when faced with similar circumstances? Just kind of curious...

When I was a young fella (bloody long time ago) footloose and fancy free... I had a theory, that was often discussed between me and my mates (buddies for the benefit of those in the USA)... that if a young lady had slender ankles, she would retain a good figure as the years passed by, whereupon if she had less than slender ankles, she would increase her weight... the reason... that the ankles would need to be stouter in order to carry the additional weight later.

What are your opinions of this very unscientific theory?

Answers from both girls and guys please...

And guys... will you be considering my theory when your out on the town?

How can someone judge wether they are intelligent or not.Should it be based on their academic acheivement or is there some other benchmark that can be used to measure against those who have not had exposure to equal schooling. Is it right for a individual to mark someone as "low intelligence" because they are not interested in what that individual is interested in.
