Although, violence does sound grand at times. Still, anti-social behavior is hurting anyone so what's the problem? People act like it is some sort of disease.

Electric Blue Violin? and is their a name for that sort of phobia?

I bought it new from the manufacturer, and it came without the bridge attached. When I tired to assemble and tune it, it snapped out and hit me in the eye and ever since, I can't tune it, so I can't play it.

I do believe I am actually afraid of it! I have a similar kind of PTSS situation concerning balloons too.

How do you get over fears like that?

What method of research would you find useful to determine if inheritance (genes) determines intelligence more than environment (experience/surroundings).

i have 3 children aged 12, 8 and 3. they are all children of 3 different doctors i worked with (i am a nurse). i am married to a great man, he is a mechanic. He thinks all three children are his. I just always acted like they were his, and he has been a great father. I just wanted children from physicians, because i want smart, successful "genes". all my children function way higher than other children there age. They are all at the top of their classes and are really going to be successful, just like their doctor daddies. I am very glad I had the affairs and got pregnant by these doctors. my question is that should i finally let my husband know? my mother is pushing me to tell him, because she just found out about all this from my co-worker (long story).. My mom wants me to tell him. Should I? Do you think he will understand?

Attraction DOES NOT REQUIRE pheromones. When you see a person of an opposite gender (or for homosexuals, the same gender) then your brain automatically analyzes their appearance to sense certain characteristics. For example, shape of their face, shape of their body, breast size, body posture, color of eyes, etc. If the other person seems attractive by your brain's standards (which are governed by evolution) then you will feel an intense attraction to that person.

And the same should be true for the other person.

The question is: at the same time?

If this is true for both persons, can you say that this is the real love at first sight?

What are the probabilities that this occur?

Would holding onto a past relationship and comparing the current one to the old one be a fear of intimacy? Or crushing on someone you know you can't have ex.) because they are married , could that be a fear of intimacy? Or having lots of lovers but none that you are close to, is that a fear of intimacy. Ultimately what does it mean? Why is there a fear of intimacy?

Which US city or town best fits the description of worst hellhole in America? Consider crime rate, disrepair of public facilities, drug abuse, sleezy businesses, pollution, and whatever else you think qualifies a community for cesspit status.

Yet another unusual question from unusual me! ;D

I've noticed for years that babies and toddlers frequently point at me for no apparent reason, and toddlers and small children frequently stare at me with great interest. (And NO, there's nothing physically odd about my face, hair or clothing that would make me stand out like this).

I've also noticed that animals (people's pets) who are unfriendly to strangers, generally LOVE me from the very first time they meet me. Some even do things for me that they normally only do for their owners, which flips the owners out. *chuckle*

It's said that young children and animals are the best judges of character, but I can't help but wonder if something more is going on. Perhaps they can see auras that most of us can't see? Or perhaps there's something else they pick up empathically or even with a sixth sense? I do NOT know, but I'm very curious! :)
