Papeverso....

I did not like your answer at all you added way to much sophistication to it. It could have made the same statement without common sense there.

Both irritate but people who lack common sense I don't understand at all.
The other group just are smug-not a nice trait.

And if you ever met a "super brain" you would know they know how to behave better. I have met a few. They don't have to prove anything.

in general the only people who disgust me are pedophiles. So what if some lack common sense? Heck I been known to lose a bit of my own here and there, other people who act like they know it all are probably better off thinking they do, wouldn't want to be a dream crusher... here's an idea instead of getting disgusted by these type of folks, learn from their ignorance and make yourself better for it. really what is better than learning from someone else's mistakes, this way you cant screw very much up on your own...

Hey I try not to take any this too seriously. After all these people are only words on a page and a bit socially inept. I just leave footprints. if they want to follow OK if not OK. Remember aside from someone who is really having a crises. This is only entertainment.

you sound like you need to chill for a bit. have some fun and some back better. BE Well

There is a wierd cat in the religion and spirituality thread, but other than that it's just people. that's the beauty of this format, ask what you want and respond how you want.

I get a kick out of it....common sense is not common enough!

No one disgusts me. We need all kinds of people to make the world an interesting place. For every person, there is an opposite.

Neither. I get annoyed by the same questions over and over and over and over
Like:
How do I cook a boiled egg?
How to get rid of moles in my garden?
How do you like my avatar?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
ad nauseum.........

Aren't both lacking common sense?

Your funny!!! because who are you asking? Is it the people that lack the common sense or, the know it alls. I think if YOU cant tell who is right and who is bull-s**t, why does it matter? People just want to hear what they want to hear.

People who cite their vast experience and give completely wrong answers bothers me some. It happens to everyone, though, if you live long enough. If a lack of common sense bothered me, here, then I would be in a constant state of disgust and not return.

The ones that bother me most are the VERY opinionated who spew hate for anyone who differs with them, who state that certain things are just obvious and "everyone knows that" when they are only referring to their very poorly considered opinion.

Thanks for letting me vent. d;c) I feel better now.

It is none of your business what I think of you and it is none of my business what you think of me... Or so it should be in a perfect world.

That being said, I hate idiots and really don't take the time within myself to entertain what idiots may think of me being arrogant, or anything for that matter...

Thanks for asking though.

Showing intelligence is something everyone SHOULD do, always. At whatever level they are within it, in life and or spirituality. It is a right of passage no one should ever feel inferior because of what intellectual level of evolution they are at.

and considering... superority is also a given if it is merited it is, as it should be; Deserved, earned and something to be proud of not hide to appease some chatter box that doesn't like it if they show it to save feelings and coddle immature whiney little boors! .

I have no problem admitting when someone shows me up and makes an as*s of me. If they were able to, Kudos to them! I take my lumps and next time, I will have a lesson learned under my belt and maybe be able to go toe to toe with them later on? That is how we both interact and learn...

What I consider an idiot. Is someone who has all of their faculties, is intelligent and ABLE to be real and honest and true and yet they opt for pretence and bullsh*it just to go with the flow and fit into a mainstream popular concensus. Walk on eggshells rather than be real and honest. With the understanding and rational that shows self control and self respect of course!

That to me will ALWAYS be an idiot.
