This sounds really soap-operaish, but it's true. My best friend passed away a few months ago and she wanted me to adopt her 14 month old daughter since her husband ran away. So I did, but now I'm wondering what I should do about telling her who her real mother is. I don't think I should tell her when she's just a little kid, but when she gets older it may be harder for her to accept the fact, but I do want to play the matronal figure in her life. What should I do?

A life of crime, a stain, even a baby all get "in" easier than you can get "out". The fly that finds its way into your home through an open window but then for some reason can't find the same window to leave.....why is this? What things are easier to get "out" than "in"?

I'm a Nurse who works for a Registry. That is a company who sends me to different hospitals and/or nursing homes. I'm curious, what do you think of when you hear about nursing homes. I can tell you that 99.9% of the places I've worked are understaffed......yet it is the nurses who get the most "pooped on". The residents don't appreciate, poor things, most can't even remember who or where they are. The Family members who come in only once a week (if that) yell at the nurses for not doing something (cuz their busy doing something else), Doctors yell at the nurses for "calling them late" or "bothering" them.
THere are a few GREAT places like San Joaquin Gardens Care Center.......professional, awesome place to recover...then there are those that......oh my God Are a Joke ........Its' amazing they are even still open......give me your thoughts................and Yes, I love my job.....just amazed by how people act .......I know.....lots of emotions involved. No Profanity please.

Particularly when the word is watered down to describe any favorite personality, I am interested in knowing what people think it means. I know the dictionary definition already, by the way. Thanks!

I keep hearing about the 15 million dollars for a box office movie release in the first week and I wonder who goes to these movies and why? I must admit I once did it but not when a movie cost what it does these days. I could see it for a great movie that was worth the wait for but most of these nowadays are junk and I can wait. Are those that go the first week getting a jump start on their lives by getting extra knowledge on life by seeing that movie? Are they shown how to avoid getting blown up in Iraq or what those in 911 should have done that day and didn't? I fail to see what the big rush is unless of course it is a status thing. Movies today are my videos of tomorrow, I can wait but can you?

Women (20 and over), the question is first, do you want to be courted. But second, how do you want to be courted?
Is courting antequaited?

We ALL know that figure is based on potential sales etc bla bla usual "free trade diatribe", so no one wants yet another "free world" economics lesson, but the actual worth of their skill. Is what they actually do, so much superior than say a nurse that they should be paid 644 times as much? Is what they do actually 644 times as good?
Personally I wouldn’t pay them anything as its something many people do for fun, and is the only "profession" where 11 year children have won the top award and 5 year olds, dogs and orang-utans do regularly so how hard can it be?
I would pay them nothing, and I bet they would still be lining up like they do for big brother etc and they would be clinging to their 15 minutes even harder, so what kind of idiot pays someone like that 20 million? No brain No pain.

I have found that online many women put pictures of themselves and yet they complain about the kind of male bloggers that try to or do communicate with them. If the image has a lewdness to it, then what can one expect?
Also, ever since the advent of email services electronic communty systems have been extensions of the old phone sex networks. It is a cycle that does not seem to change
