How do you hold tight on to your dream and not intterupted by the surroundings, fear, hurt, anything?

I found that I often forget my goal, my learned lessons, my grip, simply the beliefs that build me up as who I once proudly was.
I feel so painfully weak and stuck in this faithful-faithless circle. I wanted change but I never ceased disappointing myself.

Do you have any way/practical techiniques to improve it?

Thanks so much really for comments. I feel this is a hard question...

Did you know that when you overreact to someone who has offended you that you are telling them how to push your buttons? So why give them the power? They LOVE your attention, even if it is negative attention. So, DEPRIVE them of the thing that they want the most -- it's as good as choking off their air supply.

Of course, there is a line to be drawn somewhere. Someone may behave offensively, and not even know it. Either way, they need to be informed as calmly and as rationally as possible. If they still don't get it...well then, they need to be dealt with coldly and swiftly, but never emotionally.

Jamie is on lockdown by his mother because he became the victim of a sexual assault. She's afraid to let him stay by himself. She feels he's too immature to look after his own safety. Tomorrow is his first appointment at a counseling center in the afternoon and I'm going to accompany him on the bus. His mom is working and he has no dad. His mom pays me to stay with him (about a week now taking turns with another girl who is 14). I like Jamie a lot, hes tall, thin, handsome. He's very strong because he exercises in the park every day on gymnastic bars(under my supervision now!) and is kind gentle and innocent. He lacks the ability to say no when someone asks him to help them and that's what got him in trouble. I told his mom I would do it for free because hes my favorite boy. She said it was better if she paid me but thanked me. Hes going into the after school program at the YMCA next week when school starts. When I grow up and marry him I will care for him all the time.

I don't know why but for as long as I can remember I seem to see beauty in everything. I am just blown away by the most simple things that others never even comment on or notice. I know that sounds weird. I see it everywhere and in people, places even houses. I drove by a home today...nothing special, it just struck me so hard when I noticed the clothes on the line, the childrens toys, the swing in the tree..I felt this overwhelming feeling of how much love people were pouring into this place...the love there..I just felt it on a very personal level.

am I crazy?

Natural selection of the theory of evolution is a pathetic fallacy. It confers inanimate, always changing, environment conditions with human trait of wilful selection.

I had a dream that I went to a drug dealers house to buy back a toy I sold him. It was my daughters toy and I sold it for $50 buty wanted to buy it back. He said no and I was really mad. His whole apartment was filled with smoke. I left and waled down the street w\ my sister. The drug dealer drove around the corner in his car with the music blairing. I thought he was going to shoot me, but he didn't. Then I walked accross the street in my bathing suit and it was falling off! Then my daughter started riding into the street on a bike that was way too big for her until I yelled for her to stop and she stopped right before going into the street.
Thats it! Weird dream -what is the significance of the drug dealer??

I was talking to a Japanese friend of mine and he told me that he has been mistaken by Taiwanese people for being Taiwanese himself, and often had a hard time telling what country other Asians were from. As a white guy, I have always had a hard time associating Asian people with a particular country, but I do notice features unique to Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese. To all the Asian people out there, can you tell which country other Asians are from?

(I hope no one takes offense to this question. After all, people from different European countries all kinda look alike. )

Has anyone noticed how...feelings, like take love for example, are sooo hard to describe. I mean there are endless poems, songs, movies, books, etc about love and everythin, but still each time someone asks you to describe how you feel, you usually need a moment to think and then you say how you feel as best as you can..but theres still a feelin left inside you, like you have so much more to say, but you just cant formulate the words? Or is this just me? lol

I swear i hear this excuse given by men and women to excuse men from being civilized. Doesn't it just reduce them to being more of an animal, unable to control thoughts & impulses. Or is it true they have not really evolved? I mean...all adults started as babies wearing diapers, but it doesn't mean we can keep wearing diapers when we are adults!

I enjoy life sporadically, however, having shed most of the beliefs I had when I was a child, I wonder.. truly what are we here for? I am leaning towards a hedonistic lifestyle, as I don't want childern or spouses. I want to find something to strive for!
