No, dreams are not forewarnings of things to come, unless of course you are a psychic. Actually, alot of scientific research has gone into dreams; what they mean and where they come from. It is believed that dreams are simply the brain's way of sorting out all of the information that it takes in throughout the day. Think of it like a filing cabinet. The filing cabinet can only hold so much information before it needs to be purged. Ever wonder why you don't remember most of your dreams? Maybe we are meant to forget our dreams, because the brain is trying to get rid of them. There is an excellent book out there if you're interested in learning more about the science behind dreams. It's called "The Mind at Night" by Andrea Rock. I have to warn you, there is alot of technical jargon, but not so much that you can't understand what she's talking about.

I believe that dreams are mirror images to our lives. Everything is opposite of what we dream. In other words...dreaming of a death, is actually a forewarning of a birth. If you dream about a man, it is usually a women....etc. I hope this makes sense. This is just my opinion and not based on anything scientific.

I don't put to much into dreams. I think it just the mind wondering around idea's while we sleep. It's tempting to place value on them..I know they scare me sometimes but they are just thoughts. If they all were to have meaning and value...then the big orange monster I dream about will one day attack the earth and shoot people with silly-puddy...and my 3rd grade teacher is the real evil behind the orange monster...cause I saw her through his eyes pulling the levers and pushing the buttons

Sometimes dreams can warn you of something you are doing wrong, something you are afraid of , or it symbolizes something else in your life.
I have a dream book.
death- the end of something with that person...not necessarily death, but an ending or separation with that person.
I would need to know what kind of relationship you have with this person in order to correctly tell you.

the only thing i can tell you for sure is you shouldn't be worried so much.

that means you are in a guilt conscience. You need to visit that person more often.
In a sense, it is a warning of your subconscience, but not warning about that person being died!
