Is there anything scientists have said causes dreams? i am really getting tired of them. This time I dreamed that I lived a few miles from some camp grounds that had a huge lake and I me and my aunt owned a boat. I was driving the boat one day when I crashed into some other guyus boat his went down and then my step-mom came to try to pull it up, so she throws me some ropes to help her pull it in but instead it started pulling hers into. We same to saftey and started hanging out with some really awesome people who were black people (no affence if you get offended this is the first time ive drempt of something like that so im like happy). My aunt and a few of the people we were hanging out with decided to take a picture of all the boats underwater. Well that made me feel bad, so I ran outside and their was a chick that I really hated, Sara G. I was so freaking out and then she had the nerves to come and talkl to me. What causes dreams cause whatever it is I'm gonna stop doing whatever it

I have trouble explaining things. In other words, I have trouble putting my thoughts into words. Often when I talk, I have trouble picking the best words to explain something. Often I choose poor wording and people don’t exactly understand what I was trying to say to them. Also it takes a lot of mental energy for me. Often I have to mentally prepare what I have to tell a person before hand so I can explain things to them effectively. When I write, I don’t have as much of a problem because I have more time to paraphrase what I am trying to say, but when I talk, it’s a struggle. Can you tell me some tips and tricks in what I can do to improve at this? Do you know any exercises I can do to improve my speech? Thank you very much!

Not only are police officers still using guns, but now they are putting 50,000 volts of electricity through people with tasers. Tasers are being used on citizens when guns would have never been used on people. Drunk people are getting tazed, senior citizens, and even children. Mostly for minor reasons. Tasers shoudl be banned. Here is a videoclip of a woman being tasered during a traffic stop.

The crazy heat wave that the UK is experiencing at present, is this down to Global warming. And if you think it is what ways do we need to reverse the effects????

This is a silly question, as I want to know how crazy you girls (and maybe some guys) are...

As I have recently found out by my girlfriend: Superman in the latest superman movie seems to be really looking like a super hero!Naturally! Hey guys, arent we jealous ;)?

So, I come up with a curious and half serious question:
How much would you girls (and maybe some guys) honestly pay for a night with the superhero?

I am writing an important work. While it's just data and speculations, it's fine, I can create thousands of pages full of them, but when it comes to a really serious analysis, I am paralyzed. I explain it by fear to take responsibility for my own thoughts and opinions, but this understanding doesn't help. Maybe someone knows what one can concretely do to overcome this fear? I don't accept answers of "Just do it!" type. I am a grown-up and had millions of chances to see that "just do it!" tactics does not take you anywhere, it just causes an even bigger feeling of guilt than before...

I have a hard time implying information. In other words, I have trouble “reading in-between the lines” when reading or when someone tells me something. This deficiency I have makes me struggle in school because I have to have my lectures re-explained so I can understand it. This makes me also struggle at work; because I need to know what my boss is telling me when he’s giving me important instructions. When someone tells me something simple, I often just don’t get it. This doesn’t have anything to do with focusing or paying attention, it’s dealing more with understanding simple things intuitively. What could I do to improve on this? Do you know any exercises I can do to strengthen this deficiency I have? Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I read in a Barbera Sher book that people are usually not scared to dream about doing "daring" physical feats (skydiving, rock climbing) that would be dangerous.
But they are scared to dream big about doing things that aren't really dangerous; but that require only risk to one's ego. Why is that?

When there are like 200 questions. And you have to check the appropriate box - feel strongly about it, not strongly, strongly against.... i cant remember the exact phrasing. But some questions almost repeat each other... Really what do people who look check the answers look for? How do these tests work?

I wasn't sure of which catergory to put this under...
I had a dream the other night that a man had a bomb strapped to his body and invaded our home (but everyone but me is acting fine when he walks around them!)... he is waiting for a friend... well, when his friend takes too long, he hands my dad the detenator and tells him "when I walk into the next room, push the button!" so dad does and it blows up... (dad still sits there watching tv and mom is cooking, like this happens everday!) then not 2 seconds later, his friend pulls up in the driveway, dad tells him about the other guy so the friend pulls into our garage (some how we end up outside...) jump into our car and now the car is chasing us with weapons... then i wake up before any pain is inflicted on my family...
i was just curious to see if anyone out there might now what this may mean...
thank you for your time...

I have a friend that constantly is invading my life. She invites herself over for dinner, meddles in my life, has to be right, gets irritated, insists on doing my yard work and then expects payment for it, as if we have discussed it earlier (which we had NOT!) and constantly is up one day down the next.... Drama Drama Drama!!

And I am stuck in the middle of it!

I KNOW this is a personality disorder I am dealing with. I am a social worker and have gotten sucked into their lives before and before I knew it, I was saying "what the heck just happened here???"

I want control of my own life back! I also don't want to be rude b/c my kids play with hers on occassion. I just want to set the right kind of boundaries to make sure I keep this from invading my life...

Help!

Left brained people get better grades in school and make more money. Most politicians (clinton the exception) are left brained.

Left brained people actually like working.

Creativity is useless in modern society, since everything is mass-produced.
