I wouldn't want to belittle anyone if they have a phobia. I noticed one responses (you received) was a bit harsh. A phobia is an UNREALISTIC FEAR of something that often hinders a person's daily functioning. If you are truly afraid, and want to get over it, (be around tags/lables comfortably) there is help. There are several ways to treat phobias, but the best bet is to seek professional help. If you just want to avoid tags/lables, you can make your own clothes or have a store clerk cut them after you purchase a garment. I wonder if made in USA would make you feel better?

how can you have a phobia of clothing labels, be real. there are way more important issues in the world that should make you feel sick. like umm...how about the fact that millions of babies die of aids everyday?

When shopping carry good scissors and after trying on and buying have cashier cut the labels out for you before you take them home. It's just a label it's itchy anyway I cut all mine out after I know I'm going to keep it. Do other people's labels bother you? Now that can be serious see a phychiatrist for that one. lol have a good one:-)

No, I rip them out when I buy an item of clothing. They are not comforable and leave this spot between your shoulder blades to constantly itch. This not a phobia but an annoyance.

That's a phobia I haven't heard of. But there are all types of phobias out there, maybe you should talk to a therapist.
